Hey all, I realize me being new here this group buy is me attempting to dive into the deep end before learning to swim, but I figured I would still open this up to gauge interest and possibly help out those who may be interested in the possibility of getting samples. After reading through a history of different threads seemed like there may have been a few that missed out on an opportunity with this set so that is what caused me to open this up as a new guy.
I'm interested in getting these chips with the $.25 $1 and $5 denoms for most likely a set of 300 chips. The reason for the low count is I'm waiting to see the outcome of the Bud Jones Hybrids as those will most likely be my first full set of about 600 chips. The only problem with that, for those possibly interested in a full cash/tournament sample set, there would need to be at least a purchase of 50 minimum chips of the other denoms. I'm also interested in getting a dealer button and I believe there is a minimum requirement of 15 buttons which seems doable if the interest is there.
Lastly, with this possible group buy, I have no intentions on making a profit with this at all. Once I get more details I will be able to open up a new thread (if needed) to layout the pricing for shipping, packaging and all that good stuff. If this group buy does happen, I also want to use this opportunity with your help to keep me honest. If there is a shipping deal that I should be taking advantage of to help lessen the costs, please let me know.
My next day off is Tuesday, so I'll make the decision sometime late Tuesday (5/17) if it would be best to order solo, or post a new thread for official group buy which will include all details once I figure it out.
