Hi everyone,
I'm a new member joining from Quebec, Canada. I’ve been lurking for a while, soaking up the incredible knowledge on this forum, and I’m excited to finally share my current projects and get involved with the community.
The Table Project: I recently picked up a convertible poker-to-dining table that is currently a "work in progress." I’m in the middle of a full restoration, which includes sourcing new legs and crafting a new custom top to ensure it functions perfectly as a high-end dinner table when not in use. I’ll be sure to share "before and after" photos in the Table Build section once the restoration is complete.
The Chips: The table came with an expensive upsell: a set of 1,100 Condado Plaza (San Juan, PR) Bud Jones CICs. I’ve always loved the unique feel and "thud" of the coin-in-center design, and seeing these obsolete Puerto Rican beauties in person really hooked me on the Bud Jones line.
To provide a full range for my home games, we also play lower stakes with my Dunes 1993 commemorative clays from Apache that cover everything from 25¢ up to the $1k yellow birds.
My Current Lineup:
Looking forward to learning more and seeing everyone else's sets!
