I seem to have caught the poker chip bug recently... I had been to Vegas a few times before but a recent trip in January got me a bit obsessed over casino games and I ended up throwing a couple of parties at the house after buying a combo roulette/blackjack/poker table, a dedicated blackjack table, and actually DIY'ing a craps table built around a mat and pyramid rubber. Yea... I can get a bit overboard sometimes. Wife was a bit like "WTF" but she enjoys roulette and blackjack so she'll have to get used to the massive craps table in the middle of our living room now! ...or not
Anyway, I did not know how deep the poker chip rabbit hole went until I discovered this forum. I had purchased a bulk set of dice chips (I now know that this is bad) from Amazon, and also from Discount Poker Store (suited chips, for roulette) to support my casino parties, but after reading many articles here over the past week, I think I want to eventually get a custom set of 39mm Tina Hybrid Web Molds. I ordered a barrel of Milanos from Amazon just to see what CCs were like, and WOW they are already so much nicer than the dice chips. I did not realize how harsh and sharp the dice chip sound was until I played with the Milanos, just wow. Everything I read about Tina Hybrids make them seem even better than that.

I already made a post to Justin to get some samples. Hopefully another post will come soon to order my first custom set
Does anyone have any recommendations on chip design artists to get in touch with? I have sort of an idea in mind, which ChatGPT helped me bring to life, but I'd much rather go with an experienced artist who can really make my design pop.

For now, I'm just strategically timing the boy's casino nights with her girl's nights out so that we're out of each other's way... maybe some day she'll agree to combine them
