I’ll trade a barrel of SB $5s for a rack of PCA $5s I guess

Can we please remove the drama from the Classifieds? I don't know why that's so hard for some people -- it's worse than ambulance chasers, you know exactly who's going to arrive on the scene.

Or maybe just quit worrying about what other people do with their own stuff? The best Price Police is the silent one.

Yah
My guess any loose used barrels or stacks of 10 are non existent too
They are out there. I've seen them in the chip pr0n forum. I have a couple of used barrels that I'm going to clean. I originally thought I would be able to get more barrels in the classifieds, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Oh yah
Out there but I don’t see them being for sale unless I get super lucky

He sent me a couple pms early on when we thought whitemamba was taking the snappers. Then he said he had someone to take the whole lot and i said no problem I didn't mind. Haven't heard anything since :)

In all honesty and jokes aside, this place has become infested with pricks, bit more than what was originally assumed. It’s turned into a real shit show that required a truck load of crazy pills to even put a small dent in the amount of craziness that’s happening.

That’s just crazy talk

The prices on these are absolutely insane. They were going for $350 used when the casino was still open. Jim gets the chips and the things increase in value by 100%? If the market was like this back when the Jack Cinci was open they’d have no snappers they’d all be harvested. Anyways the market is the market so I guess these are $10 a chips now. GLWS.

They were going for a hell of a lot more than $350 long before the Chip Room sale. The market has been high on these for a while. Jim just misjudged the market on this chip because he doesn't really pay close attention to the market (he's not a chipper). He tries to get what he believes is max value for his chips. He misjudged these. Funny thing is it was all so easy to predict ahead of time. They're worth what people are willing to pay. Selling them for less just means giving someone else free money and later watching them get what people are willing to pay instead.

Yeah, I was honestly a bit surprised that the price was so low for the TCR sale - it seemed pretty clear that these would be an extremely desirable chip, at least the mint ones. That's why I was so stoked when I thought I had managed to buy a set with a rack of the new snappers and three racks of the sec. $1s. Alas, it wasn't meant to be (thanks PayPal glitch). What I personally don't understand is why the used ones are going for so much - some of the used ones up for sale look like they were run through a bloody wood chipper. Maybe I'm just a "mint chip" snob.

The value of the used ones vary quite a bit. But if you cherry picked through them and removed any chip with significant wear or flea bites, leaving only the used chips with sharp edges left, then cleaned them up and oiled them, they would sell for the exact same price as the new chips at auction (I know, that sounds wrong, and many will disagree, but I collected data on this for thousands of transactions before. There is no significant difference in resale prices between "new" and "excellent/minty looking" used chips that are cleaned and oiled in this market. But the ones with flea bites and rounded edges are worth significantly less per chip.
