I'm still waiting for my poker table, should be here next week. The pics aren't pretty as what I seen on the forum.

I got:
500 x $1
2000 x $5
500 x $25
500 x $100
and 10 extra for each denomination

Wow. Nice chips. How does that work? Do you get a full choice of color combinations or is there a standard design?

welcome to pcf looks like a lot of folks from the NY area on pcf, must be nice to attend a game where people appreciate the chips,

If you go to http://matsui-americainc.com/ they have a chip design tool. You can choose different molds and color combinations. The inner ring - which has the denominations are customizable too. Roxana handled my order, and she was awesome! I told her she needs to join the forum.

Damn! Those are SICK chips, nicely done. What was the process for ordering them?
The chips are made in Japan or South Korea so shipping can be a bit expensive. Also, by using the inner ring for denominations, you can save money on the art set up fee by using the same decal on all the chips. The decals are fantastic.
Go to the Matsui website, you can look at their catalog and then use their chip design tool to start your creation. Artwork should be done in adobe illustrator. Then email Roxana and she will go over everything with you. She is wonderful! Just contact the US branch and she should get back to you.
I love the chips, they really did a wonderful job.

those are awesome. there are a bunch of us up in Harlem not too far from riverdale...please host soon!
Definitely! Waiting for my table to get here maybe next week. I just moved to a new apartment so I still need to get lights and carpet for the table.
I used to play a lot at 135st between broadway and riverside. This was a while ago.

Those are beautiful chips...you just convinced me to get a sample to see if I like the feel

I originally thought I was going to get custom compression mold. But I got some samples of Matsui chips anyway just to see. Initially, I didn’t like the feel. They are more slippery than clay and don’t have that sharp click. It took a bit to get used to the plastic, but they definitely grew on me. Now I love them!
The samples I got were 40mm rounded edges with a glossy decal. The ones I ordered were 39mm squared edges with matte decal. The 39mm I ordered are way less slippery than the samples.
With how good they look, Matsui chips came out less expensive than a custom compression mold with comparable color options. It’s definitely a matter of preference. :)

These chips are sexy as hell,
If you ever host a game in NYC i would love to come and play with them!!!

Awesome chips and beautiful table. The Matsui Chips look like they would feel like Borgata or Bicycle Casino Chips. Is that right?

Thanks! I’m not sure about the Bicycle Casino Chips, but if I remember the Borgata chips might feel softer. I’m pretty sure the Borgata chips are Bud Jones. The Bud Jones chips have a suction that gets created between the chips, which makes it seem like they have magnets in them. The Matsui chips shuffle better, but are more slippery brand new. I have sample chips which I shuffle all the time and take every where with me. I guess the finger oils have made them sticky enough to be pretty stackable. The slipperiness is the only down side to the chips, which I assume will improve with play. This is my first set, I have a ton of samples, but I am very happy with my Matsui’s.

Are you talking about the chips I posted? If so, I’m thinking about trying to organize a pcf game.
If it’s a PCF meetup in Jersey I’m in. I work in queens and live in Long Island.
