Hello, Chris here from Texas. I found this site because I was searching for new ways to clean poker chips. I have been traveling the country for some time now, love to play poker and collect chips (I like to save one $1 chip from every casino I play in. After some time I have a pretty good collection of chips that I would like to clean. I am thinking of ultrasonic, I know I can hand clean them fairly cheap and easy but I also play in some home games where I have offered to clean the entire chip set as most of these chips we use have never been cleaned. Going to purchase an ultrasonic cleaner and hope to get some good info here.

PS: I also reload brass and have many 5 gal buckets of old range brass I would like to clean. I have dry tumbled in the past but its time for a ultrasonic test.

Thanks in advance for all the great info!

Chris

Welcome!
I'll assume you found cleaning threads, I would like to point out, that for what we would call 'single collectors' cleaning the casino used chip decreases the value dramatically. Consider using coin protectors if the mysophobia in you is bothered by the hooker juice.

We have several single collectors here, but it would seem most of the members are more interested in sets.

I have links in my signature (landscape on mobile) that you may be interested in, happy chipping!

Hi Chris, Welcome. Please note that on this forum it is considered a crime to write "After some time I have a pretty good collection of chips..." and not post any photos.
