New Empire Poker Chips from Apache (1 Viewer)

Royal, Majestics and now Empire :)

They look good - my only concern would be dirty stacks with the 25s & 100s.

Good point.

I do very much like the set as a whole; however, I'm thinking a bright pink or bright orange spot (replacing only the green ones) on the 100 would have been better. The 25/100 pic from @chipinla above nails it.

@Apache, I really like the quarter and 50¢.

I was only stocking blanks to make custom chips. Unfortunately ABC is no longer making labels and I can't find a label maker at an affordable price. One of you guys should buy ABC's equipment and start making labels. (It is for sale) Then I will stock blanks again!
Try sticker mule

@Apache Are these Sun-Fly?
Not likely at $0.49 per chip. Most likely Tina or other similar Chinese manufacturer.

Also, what's the deal with you describing these as Paulson Chips in your eBay listing???

Yeah I saw that on his listings for other chips too. Doesn't seem like something Josh would do. Maybe eBay uses it for reference. That's what I'm hoping

I've just received my sample set along with a Taj Mahal sample set and wow, I really dig the Ceremics more than China Clay (I own a Royal Card Room set).

I though ceramics were a bit different, like the Tiki, Dia de Muertos, but I guess it's a different type of ceramic, I'm still new to all the nomenclatures.

The colors are vibrant on the $1, 5$, $1000 and $5000. Not a big fan of the $10, $25 and $100 though.

Now I wanna buy a different set *sigh*

I don’t understand and never will understand why anyone would want chips with an imaginary card room or casino name on them.
If more made generic chips in the sprit of Paulson Noirs I’d own a lot more non custom chips.

This would be better even with just a big old denomination on the label

EDIT- just went on the site and saw these. This is what more people need to be making!

The Taj Mahal are a cheaper ceramic than BR pro poker. I believe they are Tina ceramics card molds. A lot of people like them, but they are definitely not as good of quality as the ceramics from BR

I've actually named my card room Royal Card Room because of my RCR set ahaha. It adds some authenticity to it.

If I may submit feedback, I'd love if the quarter pie 25c is also an option to also use as a dollar. I love the flag chip design but not using it as a dollar. It's too complex of a spot pattern next to the more simply spotted $5 chip and red next to red doesn't distinguish them in stacks very much or offer much of a visual variety. It's just a preference for me to not have chips use the same color in their designs that will be stacked next to each other while in play.

Also would be a cool homage to a legendary dollar in the TRK Nevada Club NL chips.

Great feedback. I absolutely hate that flag chip as the $1. The quarter pie as the dollar is a great suggestion. Then drop the half pie down to be the new quarter.

Four chips in a row with significant red is a real stacking problem. As is the similar colors of the $25 and $100. Sorry to Apache, but this is a very poorly thought out design. Many of the the individual chips are very cool, but as a cohesive set, they suck.

Agree. The flag is great looking but too busy for a $1 chip.
