got a couple of these a while back, i really like them. Hardly anyone was playing in this casino. Chips were in minty condition.

not sure what to think of this. mostly just this ---->(the dealers also played)

Apparently it's a legal thing there. There's a name for it (though it slips my mind right now), where an employee on the clock can sit in to fill up a game. The dealer isn't dealing himself in, but as the dealer's break came up, the dealer and the "player" just changed seats.

Only because you asked about the most embarrassing chip...

SLS, Las Vegas, on the Strip. Was the iconic Sahara, was remodeled and rebranded to be "the new" high end property. They delivered this:

In the casino's defense, they were probably running short of money after the remodel so they probably couldn't afford to hire a designer . I mean, if p5woody had designed an inlay for them he would have asked for a sample set.:D

In all seriousness, that inlay is so pathetic.....they should be really embarrassed.

And so much for the supposed NGC requirement of having the city/state on the inlay. How did these even get approved, unless having it in the mold counts?

But the cbr casino are as good as dice chips. they are plastic!!!!! those sls are paulsons with a house mold. ill take them every day of the week over the canberra ones.

I'm still looking to harvest 2 racks or Tropicana Laughlin 1s that were released in 2015. RHC White chips with blue tri moon spots...wish they were SCV/LCV but I can't have everything. Maybe @Psypher1000 will be a harvest mate for that evening.

Does anyone know if they have $1 or $3 craps there? If they do the harvest will be very easy.

The Cromwell opened with ICON chips and that's supposed to be a high end property now. If the low end Linq has them too then it looks like Paulson's days are numbered at Caesars Properties.

If that's the case, might that give Paulson an incentive to review its home market position?

Such a shame. They eff'd that place up something fierce in multiple ways. Terrible location to boot. The far north end of the strip will likely be dead until a major property gets built on the NW corner of Desert Inn and LVB. Even then, Circus Circus probably has to get remade, too, and now that the Riviera property is going to be an extension of the Convention Center, there's nothing really to provide good casino continuity from south to north.

Does anyone know if they have $1 or $3 craps there?

At that particular casino, highly unlikely. I'll still check it out with you if I can, though.

My hope is that the expanded convention center pumps new life into the north end of the strip as conventioneers will be able to walk to / stay in hotel-casinos other than the LVH.

" The Revel Casino in Atlantic City, like a phoenix from the ashes, will reopen in June in the seaside resort town. New owner Glenn Straub made the pronouncement this week, and even lit up the skies to cement its reality.

That strange bright light in the sky over Atlantic City this week was actually what has been dubbed the “Revel Pearl,” a ball of light that once symbolized a beacon of hope on the top of a $2.4 billion casino..."

Has anyone been to the Waterview? Is it a casino conducive to harvesting? I've got some time and the urge to go this weekend, but I'd hate to drive 16 hours round trip with no chance of scoring some chips.
