New Casino Coming in the New Year to Northern San Diego (1 Viewer)

Also, you should consider 3916 spots vs 312. That is just a personal preference, though.

It does bump up to Level 2, but I like the look better.

Here is a another go and possibly Final rendition of the Tournament set depending on any issues you guys may notice. The T100 is the Maverick Helmet with the Retro Blue and Retro Red. The T25 and T500 will stay the same. The T1000 will go to Yellow with the Green. I couldn't go to Purple Edge Spots like someone suggested because of the Lavender 500. Also for the T5000 the Pink was scrapped and the Sundown Chip is now taking it's place. What are people's thoughts? Also since the mold is not running for another 4 months do you guys think David will give me issues with making changes? I really appreciate everyone's input.

I like this lineup much better, especially if using dg pink on the T500 chip.

Great concept! Actually visiting family for the holidays and we aren’t too far from Miramar. Excited to see the final results

Oliver I'll have to keep the Spot I already have chosen. Thanks for your suggestions though..

I’ve sent the Email to David Spragg with the Final Design for the Tournament set. I’ll let you know guys what he says.

David- Got back to me and the changes should be OK, but those will be the Final Changes. He'll send the proof sometime in the New Year. Thanks guys for the Help and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Everyone on here.

Just for fun I wanted to see what the tournament chips in the Pie Molds would look like. The 1/4 Pie doesn't look all that bad, but the 1/2 Pie I don't like the look all that much.

Dirty stack issues with CPC chips are very sneaky. I would recommend using 1/4 vs 1/2 inch spots in many situations so you can see more of the base color.

Hi Everyone,

I have a family member who lives in the San Diego Area and he gave me some inside information on a new casino coming in the new year to the Northern San Diego area. He is like a Project Manager. It will be called the "Miramar Resort & Casino". It will apparently be near the famous Torrey Pines Golf course and they will have package deals for you to stay at the Miramar casino and play a round of 18 at Torrey Pines. The name of the Miramar Resort & Casino apparently came from it's close proximity to Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. As you may remember Miramar is where they based and filmed the movie "Top Gun" at. Back then it was known as Naval Air Station Miramar. I don't have much else to say about the Casino other than that I have some inside photos below of the Chips and accessories that the casino will be using. This is all I know. I will post more information once I know it.

Below are some top secret photos of the casino chips that they will be using. I was told they will be using Classic Poker Chips. I don't know why but for some reason they are not going with Paulson THC or RHC Chips like most casinos. The theory is that the Miramar Resort and Casino Procurement department might not have a way to get new Paulson Chips directly from the manufacturer so they decided on the next best thing which was CPC. The casino does not actually have the Chips in hand because they were told that the HHR mold that these Chips will be on will be go into production in about 4 months from now which is when the Casino will open. Just in time.

This is the Cash Chips that I got pictures of. The $100's, $500's & $1,000’s are absent because they are still probably in development.

Here are also some other Top Secret photos of accessories they will be using at the Miramar Resort & Casino.

Here are the 3 Dealer buttons that will be used throughout the Casino for Poker. For some reason they didn't want to use the plain white dealer buttons that all the other Casinos use and commissioned ABC/BRPROPOKER to do the work to make custom Dealer Buttons and some other accessories. The work is under way with ABC and should be done sometime in the first month of the new year.

I was told the Tournaments at the Miramar will be Bounty Tournaments and these are the Bounty Buttons they will be using.

Another accessory they may have during Tournaments or Cash Games is a High Hand Plaque. This is a photo of the Plaque design from the insiders at the Miramar.

Actual Miramar Casino playing cards that were snuck out of the Casino office and got shipped to me. They are 100% Plastic Bridge Size Jumbo Index.

Of course the Casino will use Cut Cards for each deck. The cut cards are below. The Casino seems kind of amateurish to me. They should have enough resources to go out and get the cut cards made professionally for themselves. However, they decided to get their cut cards from the PCF and @MatB in his "Round 6* Custom cut card interest" thread.

Once I can get the actual Pr0n in hand I will post pictures of the actual items once sent to me.

The Mirarmar Resort & Casino hired a artist & designer who also happens to be on here on the PCF. The designer of all these items was the @timinater. I was told they were very happy with his work and would use him again for any projects they have in the future. He is very talented and very easy to deal with.

Wow. What an awesome post and great way for the Casino to pay its respects to our service men and women. I will have to check this casino out. Thank you for sharing.
