Why are those quarterpies called redfields?

There was a Reno resident, Lavere redfield who played a lot of roulette. Those quarter pies were made exclusively for his use at the Nevada club.

If you google him, you will learn about his eccentricities.

They'd fit well with my set. Can't afford that much for two chips that will never see play. They are sweet looking!
