We've finally been able to get solid group together and have an expected tournament seating of 24 - 26 players

I'd like to have a semi-deep stack structure and a total time of no more than 6.5 hours of play but need some advice when it comes to the starting stack, blind progression/time, antes & also payout structure.... so any and all advice is welcome!

This is basically where I'm starting from...
Starting Stack: 25,000
Blind Levels: 20 mins
Starting Blinds: 25/50

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I should also make note that there will be 2 15 minute breaks and 1 10 minute break prior to the final table

Starting stacks at 50,000. One rebuy per player. Any player who hasn't used their rebuy by the end of round 8 can either rebuy and get the 50,000 then or forfeit their rebuy. This structure took 27 players 5 hours and 24 minutes to complete. You can try this

27 Players, season final with 1,096,000 in play. My players are all well used to a per person ante and does not affect play much at all so I don't deviate from this as it gives the smoothest tournament progression available. Game finished after 6h12m including breaks.

Amazing! Appreciate that! Was there any re-buys / add ons? Also what was your starting stacks?

First level 25/50 and 25K starting stacks IS a deep stack tourney and typically ran as Feeeze out or No rebuys. Typically a rebuy tourney would be 10K starting stacks and first level 25/50 (200 Big blinds)

Deep stack tournies usually draw higher buy ins, at almost every meet up it is $100 for the tourney and $20 towards food and refreshments. Could also do $80 prize pool and $20 bounty.

With 26 players I would suggest paying 4 spots 40%/%30/%20/%10... $2600 in the pot. Winner gets $1,040, second $780, 3rd gets $520, 4th $260.
