I haven’t been active here very long but have quickly accuired a nice casino mix set and now I’m head over heels with the 43mm royals from Apache and would like to get a tournament set.

I’m thinking it might be time to trim down on my other stuff that probably will not get much time on the felt. Haven’t quite thought this last part through but first step would be to try to estimate reasonable prices if I was to sell at some point. I’m not looking to make a bunch of money by trying to squeeze out absolute max but I’m also not in a hurry or bind and would rather keep than dump them if I feel their market value is too low.

What I have is:

Wsop replicas 2005 - world stars of poker. A ceramic set made by sunfly. Was part of a group buy on chiptalk with mr.chip.eu. I believe I paid something like $0.6-0.7/chip. My set have unaligned edgespots but most are pretty close to being aligned.
I have absolutely no idea what these might be worth.

The set contains a total of 550 chips with a breakdown of:

200 - T25
130 - T-100
120 - T500
75 - T1000
25 - T5000

Next is a cash set of CDI 05s that I bought from Apache back in the day (around 06-07). They have seen semi-regular play the first few years, then nothing for quite some years and then a handfull of times/year the last 4-5 years. They are in what I would say great condition. Pretty sharp edges. Got some color bleed issues, especially the white part of the edgespots on the $1s. I’m planning to give them a nice bath and scrub.

I have a fairly good idea of pricing of individual racks of $0.5s and $1s as I have seen those here recently. More difficult with the higher denoms and complete sets.

The weird number breakdown is because of an add-on of 25s. I originally had 50 and then found and bought 20 on eBay. There was some problem with shipping and they were returned to the seller. As a compensation he added 6 extras when he reshipped them.

Edit: seller of the cdi 25s gave me 4 extras and total set is 544 chips.

Total number is 546 with breakdown of

100 - $0.5
200 - $1
150 - $5
76 - $25
20 - $100

I would really appreciate your help!

To get an idea of condition of the chips I recently posted pictures of the sets in my newbie pron thread:

$125-$150 for the ceramics (not a very good tourney set breakdown, and unaligned edges really hurts resale value on a set like this).

$1300-$1400 for the CdIC set if cleaned up and in excellent shape (pretty decent breakdown for a turnkey cash set).

Thank you! Damn I had a feeling the value on the ceramics might be on the low side but maybe not quite that low.

Maybe I’ll end up with 2 tournament sets...
