Need help with a Design / Ideas (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys,

i need your help with a Tribute Set i want to build for me and my friends. We all grew up in a Town called Hannover in Germany. Years later many of us live in different parts of Germany or even in different countries. But on 30.12. every year we meet each other, dress up and play a good old game of Poker. And for that reason i want to do something special.

Soo.. there was a Casino in our hometown from 1974 to 1987: CASINO am MaschSee (Casino at Lake Masch / Masch Lake, or smth ^^). I have a really old Picture of the Company Logo and Text.

I want to have a classic design of what i see on the Picture --> the Text as it is plus the Company Logo. But i need your help with that.

- The Logo looks like the Roulette thingy, right?
- Do you think it was the typical red/black on the outer Spots?
- there is one Spot missing --> is this the green 0, or part of the "Company Logo"?
- The inner circle/design: my eyes are too bad too see what this is, plus which color could be used in there?
- The outer Ring - is it black, or which color makes sense in that logo?
- Which Font would fit the CASINO amMaschSee?

This is how it looks now - its a Hotel now. Back then there were many Palms (not just that 4), perhaps i should use a Palm. Or the Building. Or just the Company Logo + CASINO amMaschSee <-- classic.

This is the Design im talking about. There is a Missing Spot in the Outer Ring + a missing Spot in the inner circle.

Detailed designs cannot be properly rendered, usually, in such small areas like chip labels.
So, forget about shapes; chances are they would be incomprehensible.
If you love Hannover, just have it written around the perimeter, with a big nice denomination in the middle.
My 2c.
Edit: the Hannover horse (coat of arms) looks simpler. You could try that with a good graphic designer here.

This looks like red/black outer circle. But i still cant see what the color of the inner circle - and what design it is?

Looks like the Text is white with a black outline + brown background.

Is this casino meaningful to you and your friends? Did you all go there together to gamble? If not I would take my time and come up with a more meaningful theme.

1. It is almost certainly a roulette wheel.
2. Again almost certainly red/black. I've never seen a wheel with any other color scheme.
3. Once again almost certainly a green "0" spot. That spot is part of the house advantage in roulette.

Thats GREAT! Where did you find this picture? I checked google with hundreds of different Keywords but only found the first picture i posted + the postcard someone else just mentioned.
