Greetings, Programs!
Just wanted to show off my slowly-growing LGK chip set since I’ve been talking about them a lot lately.
Thanks to @Okku , @JWC , @RivieraDanny , @Thomacetti , @chipinla , and other enthusiast elsewhere for helping me acquire these chips!
My goal is to get a large set of LGK solids, doubling a my set of Onslows, and adding two racks each of black and red. (pics just for reference)

Some other colors I’ve considered are pink, lime green, and blue-green(?).

The singles on bottom (first image) I’m considering as additions, if I can find full racks of them, are Soper’s Montgomery Lodge and Casino West. The Dragonara 5s and Gold Rush chips on the right I might sell to fund more purchases, because I now want 3-spot chips to go with the solids instead of 2-spot, but I’m also considering making a second set with the 2-spotters because… well, I love the LGKs!
I‘d love to add the Carson Nuggets to that set, too!
I missed my chance to buy a few barrels of these on feebay - they would have been a nice addition.

One thing I didn’t think would be an issue is chip thickness. The Gold Rush (solid whites) and Harrah’s chips stack about half a chip higher than the Onslows, and the Dragonara and red/green GR chips stack almost a full chip higher!

(left to right: Dragonara, Onslow, GR)
Since the Onslows will make up the bulk of my set, I don’t know how to determine if other chips will also be thicker or not. I think I can live with this, but it might be an issue when unleveled stacks cause players to constantly question their chip count.
I realized early in my first few weeks here that I’d need to do more than just buy or sell chips - I need to learn more about them. It‘s a bit overwhelming to think about all the things of which I‘m ignorant. After posting my first question about T mold and Greek Key mold chips, the doors to the vast Chipping Informatorium opened before me.
(Yes! Informatorium is a real word I just made up.)
It’s been a crazy start since I’ve joined this community, and despite the ups and downs I can say I’m enjoying the ride. Thanks to all who have helped me thus far, and thanks in advance to all who will help me achieve my dream chip set!
End of line.
