Since joining PCF and getting back into chips, i would like to share some of the sets i've owned over the years. I wouldnt say theyre particularly special or rare like some other members sets.

I no longer own any of these sets, although there has been some regret.

Avalon Club: This was the first time we saw new colors and edge spots for paulsons sold to the home market so the chip community was excited when these were produced: REGRET LEVEL 9

Aztar Missouri: These were the first casino paulsons i owned that was part of a playable set. i never had the cash to afford any of the higher denoms so i paired them with WTHC 500, 1000, and 5000. The 100s are HEAVY and i loved how the metal flakes showed after use. REGRET LEVEL: 7

Paulson Grand Cardroom: Another first that happened because of the Chiptalk/chip community. Solid hotstamp paulsons for the home market! What a time to be alive. REGRET LEVEL: 10

ASM WSOP replicas: I got in on the GB @links_slayer organized when these were produced. I loved the design, colors and spot patterns, but i dont think they ever saw play. CPC makes some amazing looking chips, but for me thats all they'll ever be, something nice to look at. REGRET LEVEL 4

Paulson Zodiac: This was the first and only set that i spent a decent amount of time putting together, buying every chips that popped up on eBay. I really loved these chips; great colors and handled awesome. Because of the time i put into this set, it was hard to let it go. These also started my love for solids. REGRET LEVEL: 9

So from the next two pictures you can see that i sold the Lonestar, WSOP and Horseshoes to fund additions to the Aztar and to purchase the Avalons. Then i think i ended up selling everything and ended up the GCRs. Then sold those and ended up with nothing until recently when i bought the Horseshoe Cleveland WSOP chips

Thanks for the memories. I remember all that stuff going down at CT, mostly from the side lines.

"Regret Level 1"?

I'll be glad to give those Horseshoe Gardens some proper regret for you, if someone wants to sell them to me.

Who owns them now???

Every time I see a picture of the HS Grand Cardroom I am instantly reminded of my regret level 9 decision to sell my 700 pc set...

Larry I thought of at least 3 people on this board who would sell their wives for a shot at that Gardena set and you were first among them.

Bafflingly insane to find a set like that put together (with a rack of quarters AND fifties???) on craigslist. Obviously I'm not living right because I don't think I've ever tripped over a find like that.

The seller was very reluctant to accept PayPal and ship them to me.

I'm not proud of this but I made up a story that I had a relative that lived in Gardena, CA that passed away unexpectedly and that I wanted the chips as a memory to him. After a few emails and phone calls, I eventually convinced him to ship them to me.

I can't remember who I sold them to. I never played cash games so they didn't mean anything to me. I've been told that it was an excellent breakdown for .25/.50 or 1/2 games
