Wanted to take my blackjack table to the next level. Realizing the cost of getting custom clay chips made like the Paulson’s of buying old Paulson chips, I ended up settling for the ceramic Tina chips. I made mockups of each denomination using the Paulson Poker Chip Design Tool.

These are a similar design and color scheme of chips from an actual casino. Beyond pleased with how they turned out. The Top Hat & Cane mold was a nice touch…not exactly like the RHC design but close enough. Would have done the version with inlays but they did not offer it for the 43mm chips (with Top Hat and Cane Mold). I figured it was best to be consistent.

One of these days I may try to get my hands on a nice set of Paulsons, but for the money, these will do the trick.

The chips have a decent feel and weight to them. The $1,000 and $5,000 are the 43mm oversized chip. Here is how they turned out:

I think the background art is a bit too busy and dominating on the denominations. Maybe go for a cleaner center art.

/s note heavy sarcasm.

The King is pleased to see them get used for blackjack.
Ayeee glad I’m not the only one! Yeah, the inlays are quite basic  :ROFLMAO:

I got indecisive on a background design or what to put for a name. I figured having a unique inlay pattern was nice touch for each rather than using the “grand” inlay for all of them. The Fantasy Chip Design tool for Paulson chips was a god send.

I see you are using clear lammers. Mine are laser engraved so I can double check my bank.

Hey OP which PCF vendor did you use to get the chips? I am trying to get a hold of samples of this mold.

Oh good idea. The casino I worked at, they were clear….to add: lot more worn down than mine…so that’s just what I went with.

Shenzhen City Chenglin Industrial Co., Ltd. On Alibaba (AKA Tina)

SeanGecko is on the money. Although mine do not have the actual in-lay. Mine are printed on the chip.

They sent me some extras. They included a sample set in my order (probably if decided to order a new batch). They top hat and be version with the inlay are nice. Just wish they had a 43mm THC with the inlay. The summit casino chip sample they sent had a nice weight and feel to it. Has a maze texture pattern to it.

These look really great, I dig the design.

How many chips did you receive / price?

Great job on your set. Congratulations! When you were doing your research how much were custom clay that you checked out?
You designed and have a heirloom chip set for sure.

I wanted actual Paulson chips and thought about buying used primary or secondary sets to get close to the colors I wanted. Was looking on eBay and Apache. With the prices they go for, I didn’t like the idea of buying them to change the inlays. Also didn’t want mixed color sets with different casinos on them.

I looked at the clay composite chips from CPC and seen where those would be well over a $1.50 each. No top and cane either.

Saw pictures of the ceramic china clay chips with the top hat and cane and found I could pretty much design them how I wanted them to look. Found a complete primary set design I liked and had them made.

It was kinda pricy, but I paid just under $700 with tax and shipping for 1500 chips (1300 - 39mm and 200 43mm). Shipping was $218 but they came super quick. Next time I’ll prolly do the boat.

1500 chips seems like a lot, but I can now configure my rack for the $15, $25, $50, $100 table minimum blackjack game. Of course it cheaper to order a lot first, than realize I didn’t get enough and pay shipping second time.
