Ill check to see if she has this one.. Ill get back to you.. Thank you.

Pink chips typically are $2.50. You'd need to play a couple of rounds of Blackjack to get one.

Statistically you get a Blackjack once every 21 hands played, which is what you want to achieve. BJ pays 1.5:1 and that's the only way you'll get a snapper as far as I know. Cages don't sell them.

To get a snapper on a Blackjack payout the cheapest way is to flat bet $5 (BJ payout=$7.50). With using basic strategy and an average rule set, the house edge of Blackjack is about 0.5%, so on average a single snapper should cost you 21 x $5 x 0.005 = $0.52 to acquire.

If the table minimum at a place is $10, you'd bet $15 per hand (BJ payout $22.50) to get a snapper on payout. Since you are pumping more money through the system this way, the statistical average cost to acquire rises to $1.57 with that.

With a $25 minimum, you'd bet $25 (BJ payout $37.50), average cost $2.62.

Basic strategy charts for 4-8 deck games are here. You can print these out and take them with you to the table to refer to during a hand; the casino won't mind.

Keep in mind Blackjack can have hefty swings, so you best have enough money with you for ~15 hands or more.

Would you say most casinos are using pink for their snappers? We are staying at the Venetian.

I believe pink is as much a standard color for snappers as red is for fivers. Check the MOGH for casinos in your vincinity, this way you don't have to run around searching.

Edit: Seems like the MOGH is a bit weak on snapper entries. They are missing from a lot of the big names that sure must have snappers too. With a quick rush through the list I found confirmed pink snappers only at NYNY, Luxor, Four Queens, and Harrah's. Confirmed not pink snappers at Excalibur and Stratosphere. Everything else is a big question mark.

Thanks for the research! Was a big help while driving!

Here is an update:
Thank you to ALL who have participated in this, Zoie has been excited to do this and the joy fills my heart when she is checking the chips out.

My daghter has 92 chips now 6 of them are duplicates, I wanted to put them in a frame so I will try to get 13 more (for 99 chip frame insert). Here is what she has. The duplicates will be on her dresser so she can learn how to shuffle them ;)

I'll gladly take any dupes off your hands. My 3 year old has decided she wants to be a poker player when she grows up!

Unfortunately I'll have to put the ETA on my promised chip back by about a month probably. Apparently I have misunderstood the implications of the timings I have been given.

I'm happy to see though there is no Horseshoe Cleveland 8D18 snapper among the collection yet, because I'll add one of those to it. (Wanted a single sample chip for my own collection, couldn't find any singles, so bought a full barrel.)

she's still welcome to one of the aztar indiana primary snappers. just pm me your address.

I've sent an asm pink hot stamp chip with a friend who is on her way to USofA today, she's gonna send it to you, dunno ETD yet..

Let me know which of these fit the criteria for pink. All are available. I would like her to have the Annette Obrestad auto card. Would be neat for her see a female poker pro in action.

Wow that would be awesome. ALL of these meet the criteria, and none are duplicates..

Let me know if I owe you anything.
Thanks..

Hey @chipjoker, quick update for the chips I promised you.
I just got a shipping notice of my CPC order - they should be with me sometime next week. Samples will go out soon after they arrive.
Better late than never :)
Awesome, thank you.

We still need a few more before we frame them all..
