Hi All,
Gonna be a little picture heavy (so starting a thread instead of adding on to someone else's), apologies for that.
Just received them yesterday, opened them up today.
The good:
2 week turnaround time (they quoted 2-3 weeks).
Kristil was easy to work with - excellent customer service and communication.
I ordered 15 plaques and BR sent 16 (bonus!).
Final product pretty close to artwork submitted.
Artwork (jpg) submitted:
Plaques received (picked out two of the more decent ones - more on that later) - pictures above are both sides of 1 plaque: (apologies in advance for so-so cell phone pics and not brushing the dust off of the plaques before taking pics)
Mine measured 84.1mm x 52.7mm and 3.5mm thick. Just a tad smaller than your standard gift card:
Almost forgot - side edges are smooth/glossy (you can choose color). The faces are primarily textured/matte with about a 1.5mm border that "curves/bevels down" to the side edge. Finish was pretty good, I only felt a few tiny burrs in the rounded corners of a couple of plaques.
10 plaques is just a tad shorter than 11 Nevada Jack Skull chips:
one side:
other side
The not so good:
Quite a few of the plaques had "blemished" areas - looking "cloudy" or sun-faded or similar to what you get on paper when an inkjet printer is starting to run out of ink or printhead might need some cleaning...
The 4 plaques in the middle have blotchy areas - more noticeable in person with naked eye than crappy cell phone pic. Bottom right is due to uneven lighting conditions. 3rd plaque down on right side is most noticeable in this picture.
Bottom plaque most noticeable in below pic (2 areas, middle left and 3 oclock right) - middle plaque has it around bottom left, 7 oclock area:
The next 3 pics below are the same 3 plaques (1 good, 2 not so good) but shuffled to hopefully even out changes in appearance due to lighting:
Good in middle
Good at top
Good at bottom
Top plaque below probably the most evenly colored:
Ditto here
The next two pics are comparing an ok one with a not so great one:
Ok one on top
OK one on bottom
