I wanted to share my transport solutions for my tigers, for anyone that has to transport large MTT sets.

Nanuk 938
https://nanukcases.ca/products/nanuk-938

The Nanuk 938 with foam can be configured for a 5x5 setup (easy grab) or a 9x3 setup (perfect fit), to hold up to 27 racks.
The lid organizer can accommodate (8) deck setups, as well as (8) dealer buttons and a handful of all-in triangles.

Nanuk 970
https://nanuk.com/products/nanuk-970

The Nanuk 970 with foam can be configured for up to four 5x5 setup, to hold 100 racks.
In theory, two 5x5 setups should be enough for most needs (i don't imagine any of my events needing more than this), so in theory the rest of the foam can be used to hold cards, but I will wait on the lid organizer before deciding

These are great for carrying the table toppers produced by @rjdev7. Be sure to ROLL all the mats together as one big roll, instead of having a bunch of individual rolls. The 125cm one holds I believe four 96" mats or six 74"mats. The 90cm ~ 100cm ones fit better if you don't have multiple table toppers that need transporting. I heard about these from @Tonysquander and they are pretty good.

Other Tips
When cutting foam, measure twice (or three times or multiple times) and cut once. Do not just start hacking and slashing. Happy to discuss / share my configuration if anyone needs help.

Other discussion
  1. These suitcases are a bit heavy, in theory I don't need a hard shell case so long as there is foam. Are there other suitcases that are lighter and can hold 27~30 racks of chips without breaking the wheels, that also accomodate a foam solution?
  2. If anyone has permeant storage solutions for Kem Cards I'm all ears. Transporting them in their default cases has risk of bending them when opening/closing them. The plastic cases on Amazon are not a perfect fit so I am hesitant to order those.
  3. In theory yes a bunch of smaller Nanuk cases can do the job, but when transporting a lot of them it's best to have wheels.
  4. If anyone knows of a Nanuk 970 lid tray that I can mount, please do share. I see there are spots where I can screw in screws, but they don't offer a lid organizer product.
  5. Can I hotstamp this resin plastic? Can I spray paint it?
  6. There are some longer Nanuks (Nanuk 985?) that may be suitable for holding rolled up table toppers, but for now the tripod carrying bag is sufficient.

I often run into this problem transporting my 40 racks of casino grade Tiger Palace chips to my local $25 buy-in tourney game.
😜 Happy to see solutions to this frustration in my life. Jk…

I kid, very nice post mate, I want to know how heavy the total weight of that box is? Niche problems is what this site is all about.

Have you experienced chip slippage? Loss of chips yet?

Each rack should be approx 2.2lbs, so that is maybe 60~70 lbs for the fully loaded Nanuk 938 and >110lbs for the Nanuk 970.

I cannot lift the Nanuk 970 on my own when fully loaded.

No slippage or loss in the first year. Hope to keep this up.
