Versa style case, but without room for cards. The Versa 1000 also has chips lying in two directions which I couldn’t handle.

I wanted a case that could carry 1000 chips, nothing else, on one layer.

It seems similar in build to my Versas. It actually has too much room, fitting an extra 10 or 11 per row of CPCs, for a total of 1110 chips. I would have preferred a tighter fit for an even 1000 but oh well.

Anyway thought I would share. Can’t speak to durability yet but seems like an okay build.

What is the bottom made of? Usually those chip rows are just thin plastic with a fuzzy coating.

I’m pretty the trays are wood with fuzzy coating: that’s what they feel like and what the Amazon description says.

But it says aluminum construction, but I think the face panels are a plastic.

Also has a funky glue smell, enough that I’m going to air it out…
