Our league games get abt 18-34 players depending on who can make it each night. Life gets in the way at time and people have to bail or can unexpectedly make it. We don't live drawing for seat and having to redraw when that extra person comes unexpectedly.

We only play 9 max at most. We have issues when we expect 25 but then 29 arrive and we have to expand to a extra table. We have the same issues with expecting 22 but only get 17. How can we draw for seats when ppl arrive when we aren't sure what the exact field will be?

We may do as most big live tournaments do, draw seats for 4 tables(6 seats each) but leave the 3, 6 and 9 seats out until all the seats are filled and dispersed evenly. Once all the 1,2,4,5,7,8 seats are drawn and filled throw in the 1 seats of the seats and fill in the gaps evenly.

Please helps us do a system that can work.

Don't draw until 5-minutes before start time, and only draw for those present, registered, and paid. Offer 10% bonus starting chips for those present at drawing time (and distribute them with the seating chip). Should fix 99% of the problem, and any latecomers can be filled into the existing tables

Oh, you mean the *number* of players. Unless, that is, you charge entry fees by weight in :"Waueksha," WI.
