This post is the question thread for my Mixed Game Plaques Group Buys. The cards are based on the efforts of @abby99 and @power13.
General questions:
What is the most challenging aspect of running Group Buys?
Great question Machine! By far, it is communication and collection of funds, you see, there are spam tools that restrict posts, and PMs are posts. Often, Group Buy organizers have specific instructions on how to do something; it's not because they are pedantic (although this one likely is), it's designed to make the communication aspects faster and smoother for all of the Group-Buy-ies. It helps prevent order quantity mixups and or miscommunications.
Do you have any extras for sell?
A few others and I will order extras. Sometimes, we give them to hosts, and we know people will always ask after they miss something. Post in this thread if you would like. Sometimes ppl will post sell ads.
What is Free On Board shipping?
Well, I can tell you what it's not: it's not Free!
Here is an article that explains it in detail. Basically, it is me saying that I will get your order to the post office. Once they have it, they are responsible for the package.

Timing:
How long will the Group Buy take?
From the order date, the expected turnaround time: (29-35 business days)
Duration of the gathering of orders and collecting funds varys, I like to leave it open depending on units especially if we are close to another tier of pricing.
What games are listed in the Core Set?
Game Names:
A request was made to change some of the games' names, specifically those that could be interpreted as juvenile, offensive, or controversial. When introducing new games to players, 'Lick My Balls' was considered not a serious game. Who knew? By proxy, some members would lose credibility when sharing the games. Yes, it's comical, but family-friendly names are also preferred. Can I change the names of the games on the cards? Yes, will I? Maybe if it fits these guidelines. In cases where we do re-name games, we try to find the name presented by casinos.
Variants:
Are there Hi / Lo variations?
Can we have a card for PLO 8? The cards are aids, meant to help newer players or provide a baseline for the game. Most games can be played as split pot, and one of the variations is low. I think adding a separate card just for the variant doesn't provide value and increases costs. On some of the cards, it's noted that you can play it 8 ob.
