I've kicked the idea around ever since I first saw Pelican & Nanuk cases used for chip cases to use Milwaukee Packouts. Kaizen Foam is so much better than the pluck foam in the other cases. The only difference is no foam on the lid which is easily added. I'm going to make 1 case soon I was just curious if there's anyone out there who's done it before and if so maybe help me avoid mistakes they made. If you're unaware, Milwaukee Packouts stack & lock together typically used in trades for tools & parts. I have dozens and two that I can spare for this experiment. Small organizer is 15"x10"x5" so that's an easy 800. Large case is 20"x15"x5". 2 small cases fit on top of 1 large. There are other cases & configurations and wall mounts and rolling boxes & drawers its endless lol. I'll be working on this soon.
