Finally making some head way in choices think ive narrowed down from looking at various CCs like majestic it is far more cost effective to look at a tina group buy with some great help from the community i think j will go with either some greek or web mold tins from @justincarothers in due course in the mean time getting some label design ideas together and a formal name for my “card room”

Thinking of going with “Degens palace” yanno gotta keep it classy…

Anyway heres what my break down is looking like for a 5/10 pence game across 2 tables with multiple rebuys and add ons

5p 300
25p 200
£1 150
£5 50
£10 50

Makes a bank of £915

45.75 buy ins at 200bb

Could add a few barrels each to make bank of 1k and 50 buy ins

Any thoughts always appreciated

Starting stacks? I think you have too many 5p chips.

.05 x 10
.25 x 18
1 x 15

For 16 people that's

.05 x 160
.25 x 238
1 x 190

I'd cut 100 of the 5p chips, add 50 25p, and 50 £1. You could also go 75 x £5 and 25 x £20 (instead of 50 x £5 and 50 x £10) without losing any bank.

Why more 5p over 25p? Usually you only need about 100 of the smallest denominations, and you want more than 100 workhorses per table. Once people rebuy or addon, you won't need to give them any 5p, they'll make change.

5p 200
25p 250
1 200
5 50
10 50

I think the need for £20 chips to be mayybe exessive for our game i may also consider adding a few barrels of 1p chip if we ever lower stakes games sometimes and play 2p/5p at £10 buy in
