Thanks for the tag !!!
YES — I have both the $1.00 and $5.00
Mickey’s Club chips with the “ surfing Joker “
on the inlay …

There were two listings on eBay, by different sellers, both for $374 recently. One was for a set of 17 chips, but you'd only know that if you read the description closely, and I think the other listing was just a single chip.
i swooped up that 17 chip lot

That was an illegal club??
according to chipguide it was licensed, as well as the casinos that came before and after. Think the seller just tagged that on to make it seem more enticing/interesting.

Whatever! as long as the chips make their way to me

If my memory is correct — that particular
location had 3 different licensed card rooms
in Santa Cruz CA …
Will check and post the info later …

I passed up like ~150 of the $1s/$5s a couple years ago at like $6/chip or something because it seemed like an expensive unplayable set. They're pretty fire though...
damn, it's even more expensive and unplayable now

was it 150 of each denom or 150 total between the 2? Trying to figure out if theres even enough out there to make a playable set lol

Same seller BayAreaBargains I think. Maybe it was ~150 chips including some fracs, didn't seem worth whatever it was

There were a few listings for barrels of fracs https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/mickeys-club-illegal-casino-poker-4587828550
10x $5s https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/mickeys-club-illegal-casino-poker-3764503251
oh these chips are 100% not worth whatever people are selling them for ($20-25) but dammit my stubbornness will be the downfall of my retirement

I am curious what the selling price was, and if he has more in the backlog and just trying to slowly sell to milk the high price

Looks like a handful of $5s were sold by the same user too
