Sale Made-to-order Custom Table Toppers (24 Viewers)

Has anyone who has ordered toppers from Ryan multiple times noticed that the card slide on the newer toppers is not quite as fast as on the older toppers? I am comparing a topper purchased three years ago with one purchased two months ago.
Waiting in the pm queue to order a second one so now I’m curious! Wouldn’t necessarily mind, my current topper is very slippery lol

It turns out it was the cards and not the topper. Very strange. Two deck setup of DaVinci's purchased from Chips and Games. The red deck cards slid perfectly fine but the blue deck cards seemed to get hung up in the middle of topper on my table when dealing from each end (84 inch long table). I confirmed this by dealing several cards from each deck from one end of the table. The blue cards consistently stopped halfway, while the reds slid all the way to the end. It was just that one deck. I opened a second setup of the same DaVinci's and both decks slid perfectly fine. I tried to see if there was a difference in texture between the offending blue deck and the red, but couldn't really feel or see any major differences. Clearly the offending blue deck had something different, but beats me as to what it was. That result made me happy as we self-deal and I wanted the players on the long ends to be able to get the cards to the other end without issue.

Problem is our game is self dealt and most players are just apes.
I wish there was a Rail System that could work on top of tables :/
There is a kickstarter company called PULSE that sells some sort of modular border system that is intended to act like a rail when you use a dining room table as a poker table. I have no idea if it is any good or not. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pulsepoker/pulse-the-portable-poker-rail-system. There is a thread here that discusses this system. Do a search for "PULSE".

I literally just backed this on Kickstarter.

Plan is to get another topper from RJDev7 when this ships.

Only problem is the measurements are in CM. It will be SLIGHTLY short for my table, but hopefully not egregiously.

roger that! thanks for the heads up
New member. Been following this thread for awhile. Just trying to get some posts in so I can DM. Anyone have any Egyptian themed toppers besides @rjdev7 stock examples they'd like to share?
C'mon guys. PCF is an awesome forum. Get out there and start exploring. There is so much great content. I think I was up to 20-30 posts within the first week!

I built a homemade rail that drops on top of the table. It requires a little storage though, and at that point you may just consider a Barrington.

Arrived! :)

Ryan can work with you on a design if you don’t want one of his existing stock options…or maybe you want to tweak an existing option?

Hi, im new on this site and have to ask a noob question about toppers:-)

Do I just layout the topper on the existing filt on the table and tug it under the foam edge?

Best regards from Martin

By the way, I love the designs by rjdev7, especially the star wars designs. Looking to get the Long live the Empire to a Vervour table. Once I get it im planning on measuring the cloth and place an order.

I'm excited to announce a partnership with a new vendor who will be able to supply made-to-order table toppers to the US and Europe.

All existing stock designs and sizes (including those compatible with the Barrington / ESPN oval tables) that have been previously offered are available, and will arrive within a time period of approximately 3-4 weeks from the time of purchase.

These can be ordered in any shape or size up to a max length of 114” and a max width of 48".

A few considerations:
  1. Thickness: The thickness of these toppers is 2mm.
If you're using these directly on a dining table, it is advised to get some closed cell foam or other method of padding (read through the thread for examples of what folks have used successfully) to put under the toppers.
Possible Solution: "Blank" toppers (empty / no print) can be purchased as the same size as your topper for 30% discount. This would allow you to use it as padding underneath your topper if you feel 2mm is not thick enough. You could also buy two printed toppers and put one under the other.
  2. Quality: The print quality and quality control (e.g. dimension accuracy to 1/2") are better than the vendor I was using in China for the bulk orders. The colors are very vibrant, with little bleed, and the dimensions are more precise.
  3. Sewn Edges: It's possible to have sewn edges for a small added fee. Take this for what it's worth, but if you're using these toppers to fit within an existing table like a Barrington, an ESPN table, or some other existing table, I would recommend NOT doing edge stitching as the look is much cleaner than having the edges showing around the inside of the rails on the table
  4. Shape: There's no restriction on shapes. For instance, you can do round / circle toppers, rectangle toppers, octagon, ellipse, oval toppers, etc.
  5. Size: The new vendor supports any topper up to a maximum length of 114" and maximum width of 48"
  6. Price
Un-sewn Edges: $135 shipped for standard sizes**
Sewn Edges: $145 shipped for standard sizes**
** Size Premium: There will be a $2.50 per square foot premium for toppers that exceed the standard Barrington dimensions (73.5 x 31.5) which I will calculate at the time of order.
Custom Art: Custom designs will come at a $10-50 premium depending on the extent of customization required. Payment for the topper + custom designs will be required before designs take place. If there is a change of heart and you do not look to purchase the topper after seeing the designs, I will refund you the amount minus my design fee.
    Here is a
blank template in Adobe Illustrator if anyone would like to design your own art and send to me.
To place an order, please PM me with the description of the design & the dimensions of the topper you would like.

If you have questions, feel free to respond here so my answers are seen by all. Thank you!

Here’s a video showing how well cards slide on the toppers:
I'm definitely wanting to order one of these. Can the lighting strip under the bumper be put on a dimmer?
