Sale Made-to-order Custom Table Toppers (102 Viewers)

Sorry, new the forum and was unsure how everything worked. I apologize that you had to look at multiple posts from me.
No, I'm just worried that that design might be too busy and distracting during a game. But it's completely up to you of course.

Oh...I gotcha! I actually stole that design from one that he had previously done. And just put our poker groups name on it. I actually haven't even thought about that. Good catch. Got me second guessing myself now!

Rjdev7 I sent you a pm. Also for those of us without adobe illustrator, how do we layout a custom topper?

Better than I imagined it, thank you brother

You should be able to use Inkscape to generate SVG files. It's a free download and I have been playing around with it to design a new mat for myself. I have also found that ChatGPT can provide some very good suggestions for color combinations and choices, specifically for designs that will be printed on neoprene (which is what I believe RJ's toppers are).

I see everything. Including this reminder of a message I saw. Lol sorry, I just respond in the order things come in so I’m being fair. My backlog sucks, I apologize!
All good, Ill hear from you soon 👍🏽

I am obviously a noob here, but would doing batch orders like once a month be more helpful for you? Not as a discounted/group buy, just streamline the process.

You could setup a Microsoft Form to gather folks info/order requests and have a pay by date/payment information for those that are ordering the normal toppers that have current designs.

Your custom work would still need direct interaction, but this would probably clean up the 5000 PMs you get every month.

Unfortunately no. If PCF was full of people that knew exactly what they wanted, and were ok with zero revisions, it would work. That being said, to build great products and ensure mats look amazing when they show up, I sometimes need to do multiple rounds of back and forth hence the delays. Having the "initial" requests in a form isn't what would solve it.

I have about 20 PMs in backlog so I'm not that far from catching up.

Can't emphasise this enough - I have just confirmed my 3rd East Village Poker Club topper, and Ryan came up with an initial design, and then 3 iterative designs as we tweak it to make it really perfect.

His design and intuition makes the products really top tier - if we just went with my original concept/thought for each topper comapred to the final product, it would have been nowhere near the same calibre.

Everyone should want to get one of these, but the 6 week or so lead time from PM to arrival is completely fair for something as customized, high quality and unique as what @rjdev7 offers.

I'm excited to announce a partnership with a new vendor who will be able to supply made-to-order table toppers to the US and Europe.

All existing stock designs and sizes (including those compatible with the Barrington / ESPN oval tables) that have been previously offered are available, and will arrive within a time period of approximately 3-4 weeks from the time of purchase.

These can be ordered in any shape or size up to a max length of 114” and a max width of 48".

A few considerations:
  1. Thickness: The thickness of these toppers is 2mm.
If you're using these directly on a dining table, it is advised to get some closed cell foam or other method of padding (read through the thread for examples of what folks have used successfully) to put under the toppers.
Possible Solution: "Blank" toppers (empty / no print) can be purchased as the same size as your topper for 30% discount. This would allow you to use it as padding underneath your topper if you feel 2mm is not thick enough. You could also buy two printed toppers and put one under the other.
  2. Quality: The print quality and quality control (e.g. dimension accuracy to 1/2") are better than the vendor I was using in China for the bulk orders. The colors are very vibrant, with little bleed, and the dimensions are more precise.
  3. Sewn Edges: It's possible to have sewn edges for a small added fee. Take this for what it's worth, but if you're using these toppers to fit within an existing table like a Barrington, an ESPN table, or some other existing table, I would recommend NOT doing edge stitching as the look is much cleaner than having the edges showing around the inside of the rails on the table
  4. Shape: There's no restriction on shapes. For instance, you can do round / circle toppers, rectangle toppers, octagon, ellipse, oval toppers, etc.
  5. Size: The new vendor supports any topper up to a maximum length of 114" and maximum width of 48"
  6. Price
Un-sewn Edges: $135 shipped for standard sizes**
Sewn Edges: $145 shipped for standard sizes**
** Size Premium: There will be a $2.50 per square foot premium for toppers that exceed the standard Barrington dimensions (73.5 x 31.5) which I will calculate at the time of order.
Custom Art: Custom designs will come at a $10-50 premium depending on the extent of customization required. Payment for the topper + custom designs will be required before designs take place. If there is a change of heart and you do not look to purchase the topper after seeing the designs, I will refund you the amount minus my design fee.
    Here is a
blank template in Adobe Illustrator if anyone would like to design your own art and send to me.
To place an order, please PM me with the description of the design & the dimensions of the topper you would like.

If you have questions, feel free to respond here so my answers are seen by all. Thank you!

Here’s a video showing how well cards slide on the toppers:
Hey! I was wondering if you offer shipping to Canada. I would love to get one of your toppers

A DM is probably best for you to request your custom topper. You just need to wait a couple weeks for Ryan to get to you in his queue, depending on how busy he is. He had customized one of his pre-existing toppers for me and it turned out great. So he likely can do what you want. I described what I wanted in the DM and Ryan eventually got to me.

I have about 20 PMs in backlog so I'm not that far from catching up.
I know you're behind on requests, but just want to make sure you received my DM from last month (just "bumped" it).

Not urgent at all, but just want to make sure you have me in your queue... let me know one way or another...

Thanx!

I'm down to 2 unread messages so most of you should have been responded to by now. If you have a very old message and are still waiting to hear from me please DM me again. Sorry. I'm going to try and stay caught up now (not that I haven't been trying... but you know what I mean x_x)
