Hello!

Does anyone have any inexpensive Paulson or Bcc cash chips they want to sell? We mostly play tournies but I'm hoping to push for a cash game, probably .25/.25(.50). I can't break my bank so would hope to get this done for under 1.5 a chip or so depending on the chip. Is this unrealistic? I guess I'll find out! I'm sure I could slowly piece something like this together but seeing if I could get it done all at once. Thanks!

Would be looking for the following denoms for starters.

100-200 .25s
200 1s
100 5s

I think the .25 are hard to come by, otherwise you should have no problem.

It can be done. The fracs will be the hardest at that price. You can probably pick up some primary GV $1 for at or just under a $1 each. the $5's you should be able to pick up for under a buck for sure since they are usually pretty rounded. The only thing is the GV did not have a frac so you could always get a roulette and relabel them.

I can split my BG set .
100x .50
200x1
100x5

If you are on a budget and want nice chips... I can guarantee you can get by with fewer chips. What is your buy-in? How many players? I do a deep stack (200bb) .25/.50 nine player cash game with 400 chips... yeah we make change... but it ain't bad.

I'm assuming you might do $50 buy-ins. Here's a breakdown.

100x .25
130x $1
60x $5
10x $25

300 chips, $705 bank.

Typical $50 buy-in breakdown:
12x .25
12x $1
7x $5

All rebuys are handled in $5 and $25.

Now you can afford to spend $2.50 per chip

I would think you would need a bigger bank than this to be safe - I regularly have close to $1000 in chips on the table by the end of the night at my .25/.50 game if we're 9 or 10 handed. We have max buyins of $80, but most players buy in for $40-60.

I agree with everyone that the quarter will be your most expensive purchase...if you dont mind condition but just want casino chips...Cali Bells, Garden City.

If you can bump up your stakes to .50/.50 or used mixed chips, you have a lot more options...Argosy, Aztar Indiana, PCA primaries, Terribles primaries, Fun Nites with Starbursts as Fracs, Freddie's Club, Lucky Derby, Paradice with a rack of PAD roulettes as fracs,

If you want mint Paulsons, that would be a tall order in this market. You would have to count your lucky stars and do your homework scouring eBay, Craigslist and all the chip boards and something might land in your lap. It has happened before. Hope this helps and good luck with your search.

If you had any interest in asm/cpc chips I have a basically mint set of 500 blank solids but they do not have denoms. Would sell for. 35 each plus shipping cost over $1 each new, they are on die car mold. Was going to list next week.

Sounds about right @Shaggy . probably average around $40. What breakdown do you use?

I do a .25/.50 game with 9 players. Buy-ins are $100. Most amount I've ever had in a game was right around 3k. My bare minimum set that works most nights is:
100x .25
120x $1
130x $5
40x $25
10x $100
total bank: $2795

This is my go to breakdown. Whenever I buy a new set from the chiproom etc. My game plays a bit bigger than the typical .25/.50 game though... and we bet with the $25s. Others here swear by a crap ton of $1s or $5s... not me.

That's a great little set. I'll let @chase decide if he wants these first. If he doesnt, I'll take them. I've been meaning to get a travel tourney set to some of the home games that I frequent. LMK

I also have a mondo 1100 piece set of basically mint Roman mold set for. 40 per chip plus shipping. No spinners etc. Also was going to list next week. Sorry for thread jack.

Chase, I have these available, was going to list next week. PM me and we will see if we can work something out.
They can be cleaned, hot stamps milled out and labeled with your own design by Gear for .70 a chip. I have a little over 800 TH&Cs, the best of which are shown in the first 2 pics.

Well yes! Fractionals are wonderful chips, but they aren't cheap. I am sure there are a number of vintage casino Paulson chips for under a buck a chip

These likely would run $2 to $4 per chip if any were for sale.

I paid a dollar each for these hotstamps and thought I got a steal. I think these quarters are likely going for $1.50 to $2 each

Chase you should get these. I actually have held these and shuffled these Paulsons. If you do not I might have to!

Thanks for the help and recommendations everyone. Thread can be locked. Looking for quarters or starbursts. Maybe pinks if possible.
