I know this is large ask. I wouldnt mind mixing different sets if they still meshed well. Open to different ideas. This is for 2 cash tables of $2/5 or $5/10....game does get deep once in a while. Im looking for good value on a set this big. Chips will be used on a daily basis as well. Any suggestions or input would be appreciated.

$1- 200
$5- 1500-2000
$25- 400-500
$100- 200-400 If more $100s I could kill off the black
$500- 0-100

Thank you

For a game that size, a set that size would you consider custom CPCs? Daily use means they need to hold up, Paulsons will wear down over time and ever finding a set that size would likely need to be from a chip room sale. CPCs are totally customizable and up for the task of daily use, plus added security of being customs you don't have to worry about people sneaking in chips, like you would with say an HSI or Jack's set.

Price range really depends on quality.

Price really depends on chips. Not really looking to spend over $2500~ but I am flexible
For that price range I’d also suggest these:
I'd suggest customs for security reasons. Have you looked at options from @BR Pro Poker or @SUN-FLY Poker Chips?

The cards molds chips from Tina (Chinese manufacturer) offer pretty tremendous value as well for what they are.

You can get casino used Paulson Clay chips in that range but likely only of very common chips which reduces security

CPCs are awesome. Last time I checked with them they told me an order that big would take like a year to make....and they were super backed up with orders.

2,400 - 3,000 chips and a budget of $2,500 is sub $1 per chip... Ceramics, Cards Molds could be accomplished for that, @SUN-FLY Poker Chips would be close to that budget and have several different options. Clay is probably out of the picture with the budget though. Casino used RHCs maybe but again already used and you plan to use them daily.

CPCs at minimum would likely be double your budget. Even cards molds will take months. The only one you could probably get a decent turn around time with would be BR Pro ceramics.

Im less worried about the security of the chips. Small community of players.....anything out of the ordinary would be noticed quickly.

I made a large order of ceramics from chiplab years ago and I was not happy at all with them. They faded quite fast and the colors didnt pop like mockups on screen. Also, as they wore down they became slippery. IDK if this is the case will all ceramics but it put a bad taste in my mouth.

Ceramics are definitely not for everyone! But the lack of supply compared to massive demand in the Clay Chips market has driven the prices up drastically! Even with the year wait and low level edge spots you would probably be looking at $6k for a set of CPCs.

I personally am not a fan of ceramics, but Sunfly hybrids are a different animal and still in the realm of your price range. I don't own a cash set but do have a small tourney set, we played them Saturday evening.

Still inlaid also you can get them in 39mm or 43mm. Not sure on current prices but again still in the realm of your budget. Any nice clay would likely cost you considerably more. But Sunfly is also coming from overseas and takes a while to get here even if you have your set designed right now, you're probably talking a couple months. This is a large order, again anything already made in those quantities is going to be difficult. Even with quadruple that budget I'm not sure you would quickly find what you are looking for.

If security is not an issue, I hate to say this but maybe a cheap slugged set from a distributor or eBay and then order something decent. Not sure what kind of time crunch you are in here.

Yes CPCs is about $6K. Id be willing to maybe pay for used ones. How much do you think 1500-2000 $5 RHCs or HSIs are? Who makes the card mold "tina" chips? Is it sun-fly, because they have the ravenor chips that also have the card mold.

There is no time crunch. I am looking to replace the current paulson set I have now. They are nice but we do not have enough $5....and most of the $5 chips are wearing down. I ordered samples from sun fly and looked at the ravenor and lucid dream chips...felt kinda plasticky and hard to me. Are those custom chips from there?

Depends if you can find someone with that many $5s, original used Jack's were sub $1 but now... no idea, and that many, good luck.

The cards molds are Tina but after your comment about not being happy with previous ceramics. I am definitely skeptical to how these chips would hold up to daily use. I hear after a few uses the gritty texture comes off and you start getting spinners (hear say... as I do not own a set yet but definitely the word on the street)

@SUN-FLY Poker Chips is a totally separate company and they are a vendor here, on their website they have many stock options to choose from that could get the ball rolling for you. Again I am a fan of these, don't have Paulson type expectations and they are great! Definitely build for abuse! I was on the fence until I played @MegaTon44 custom sunflys and honestly can say I believe you would be happy with these. As with all chips, we all like different stuff! Get samples before you take the big plunge on a set. But they are quality ceramics.

They are dense, hard plasticky (lol) but they hold up well. Again totally different realm then Paulsons. If that's what you like, again used but the chip room sale may be the way to go!

Used cpc chips don’t go for much less than the new stuff in my experience.

If you need custom labels in that price range then China customs are one of the few options. Might find some local distributors willing to do it under $1 m/Chip but not by much and in all likelihood they’re just outsourcing to a Chinese supplier anyways.

Everyone will say jack and majestic star because they seem perfect for your needs. But be aware that the majestics are in pretty bad condition so if you’re buying to upgrade might want to go with jacks which are actually pretty reasonable condition for used chips.

I’d say the jack 1s/5s are the best of the bunch for the price so I’d consider mixing jack 1s/5s, majestic 100s/500s, and then finding some other 25 Chip that’s in better condition as both of those sets 25 chips are pretty rough.

What are the $5s and how worn down? Guessing thechiproom Maj $5s will be just as worn down but there's a very good chance you'd be able to get 2000 imo

2000 5s is going to be a heavy lift I think.

Maybe Cincinnati Jack's are your best bet at this point on black Friday. Anyone know how many 5s were left at last count?

Fair enough, I've definitely doubled my original price point since I started :D
I feel like more often than not everyone finds their way back to this reality. If these things are meant to last I think flexing a bit on the budget is probably smart, particularly since I think a lot of what's in the Black Friday sale are probably at least someone worn? Not sure. Either way, I think for the price and the amount of $5s he needs this seems like a good start.

I have the classic paulson chips. They are still okay to use and not as worn as some of the pictures ive seen floating around. Anyone us the Majestics?

Yes, $2500 is a low starting point for nice chips....someone sent me a photo of some nice paulsons that need stamps and also some aria replica tina chips that looked great.
