I've been lurking on these forums for a few years now (look at the age of my account). First got into poker chips back around 2007/2008 with a few mixed sets I picked up on eBay (some old casino aztar chips and some csq clay chips!) and after all these years wanted to start making some more purchases and filling out some of my collections, and finally (after all this time) splurge on some KEMs - have mostly been using copags after all these years.

I play a casual home game with friends once a quarter, but hoping with some new cool chips we can get a little more frequency going!

I'm looking to fill out my set of CPC CSQs with some more chips/colors (have a set of plain blank ones) and also eyeing a few sets of nevada jacks on the for sale forum!

Welcome! One option for CPC blanks that has grown on me is hot stamping. When I first started in the hobby, I was dead set on labels/inlays, but now I think a tournament set of hot stamps would be pretty cool too.

Interesting that could be fun and would solve the issue around the chips not having denominations for my home poker game guests (varying degrees of sobriety and experience make it hard sometimes).

One of the triggers for me deciding to be more active was hearing when CPC almost shut down. Was pretty happy to hear that someone decided to take up the mantle and keep the business going. Managed to let me put off buying a set for a while longer (saving the bank account).

Thanks all - after all this lurking have now purchased (and awaiting arrival) of 1000+ chips! savings account doesn't appreciate this :)
