I know somebody linked a page here once, and I was shocked to see just how many different Paulson fantasy sets were made. Does anybody have that link?

Just off the 'cuff, I know the list is very incomplete:
Presidents
Fan of Cards
Fabulous Las Vegas
Viva Las Vegas
WTH&C
Pharaoh
Le Cove
James Bond
Zodiacs
Scandia
Dogs
Generals
Classics
Avalon
Good Luck Clubs
Nudie Girls
Casino De Mexico

National Poker Series
Horseshoe Gardena (mostly qualifies)
Casino De Isthmus (James Bond... both versions)
Le Paulson Noir

Gran Derby
Capitol Casino

I guess the semi custom group buys
Private cardroom
Grand cardroom

"The Authentic" atrocities

I've had the question a few times, so this thread is a good reference; I'll bookmark it. And thanks for the link, @BGinGA

One of the reasons I ask is I'm trying to figure out what I bought in eBay have to keep reminding my self I don't collect singles. It won't be in hand for a couple of days, but it sure looks like a plain mold from the picture.

Derby Gran, actually. I'm continually amused by the people (especially on eBay) who insist these chips are from a real casino. (There is/was in fact a real Derby Gran casino, but these chips are not from there.)
Right you are. There was also an actual horseshoe Gardena, just not with the Paulson chips, or it never opened or something?

The Horseshoe Club in Gardena CA was a real card room, and closed in 1989. At some point towards the end, Paulson chips with "Horseshoe Casino" and mostly real shaped inlays were ordered, but they were either never used, or never delivered..... and if the latter, most likely sold in the Paulson store in Las Vegas.

Paulson later produced additional "Horseshoe Casino" fantasy chips, using the same nine base/spot color combinations but with round inlays, and these were sold in the Paulson store. Those same color/spot combinations were also used to produce chips for quite a few different fantasy chip sets (Le Cove, Casino de Mexico, Viva Las Vegas, etc.), prior to the B&G/Bud Jones/Paulson reverse merger that became GPI. The well-known Paulson "fantasy chip colors" lineup all started here.

@courage has also done research (and has a large playable set, along with a comprehensive sample set), and may have additional information.

Might be my new favorite set. Have been thinking about posting a question about cali color sets as I think that is going to become my mission.

Nice history, and the chips are great but hard to find in quantity. I could never build my set large enough to handle a good game.

You listed most of the chips but afaik I have the only complete sample set in existence.

Nice @courage. Is that sample rack a DIY or did you buy it somewhere (if so where)?

It's a DIY put together over quite a long time searching for singles etc. I always wondered if there was a round inlay $50 for example, but have never seen one. The $10's are somewhat hard to find, and decent $1k's.

I think he meant the wood rack.

It's a cool design and it wood be pretty easy to make.

Hmmm.... For both you and BG: What about the grey $100 with shaped inlay, similar to the $25s?
