Not the worst advice in the world. But personally, I'd rather use cheaper denominated chips than use paulsons on the wrong denominations.

Definitely not. I can't even use 25s as quarters like is very common.

It depends a lot on the casino and the chips.

If fractional chips, then yes pretty much all of them will raise a stink. Most of the casinos that have a poker room don't care.

Some casinos like Paris make it a pain in the ass to get their $1's. While the Flamingo cage and Poker room both went through racks and racks of chips last time I was there to find spotted chips I was harvesting for another member.
