I had a regular Weekly Home Game running before Covid-19 hit the world and locked down happened

Playing Live Poker legally become impossible. Even strolling outside with my dog is not recommended anymore

With extra cash & lot of free time on hand, I decided to upgrade my Slugged Plastic & China Clay Chip Set that I have been using & rotating for ages.

After a couple of google search & watching some YouTube videos recommendation, I found PCF and ever since then I had gotten more than what I am looking for.

Currently owing Multi Cash Sets and Some Hybrid Tourney Sets, I decide I need to curl down on my spending especially after regular pre-covid life are back on, and inflation rate is raising at the moment.

My roots of getting my first 2 real set are via a PCF raising, it took about 4 months before I got enough to buy a Jack Cincinnati Set and after an additional couple months of saving, I bought another set ; a B&G Moscow Set

With that being said, I will like to kickstart a PCF (Poker Chip Fund) project/account where any winnings/losses from my Home Game will be tabulated and added into it. Any further Sale of my existing chips will also be recycled into the PCF.

The start date will be from my last major purchase (3rd Sep 2022) and I be updating the home game results & spending as well in this thread.

Current PCF Status
45 Sessions In +$5,459 USD (+$7,283 SGD)
Spending tracker -$5,164 USD

I'm gonna regret not getting an Opus set, I just know it.

You've got a great-looking poker setup there. I hope you and your players are enjoying the games!
Thanks, I am very pleased with the acquisition of the Opus Set; especially at that price range.

The set-up is a vast improvement before I found PCF, our group used to play with poker mat on the dining table and using $100 plastic chip set.

It at least decent enough but I do wished I got a bigger house so we have more comfortable seating spacing around the table
A very nice variety of sets! The collection philosophy I aspire to!
Thanks, that is my collection philosophy which I am working towards too as I am a fan of both Clay and Casino Grade injection Mold plastics chips

Still a number of checklist / theme I will like to try in the future
Very nice sets, congrats.
Thanks :) It been awhile since I last saw you.

I still remember your “vineyard”-like CPC set that you had design on your own

Bad weekend, played 2 public sessions (1 live, 1 online) both end up in the red

Might want to reconsider if playing online till the wee-morning is a smart move  , probably not the best condition / environment plus it’s quite tiring the next day

Playing at 50c/$1 Stake (Live) Co-host

Le Boudoir FDL Set + Trefl Cards

Sick chips @LeLe would like to be able to play a home game with the singaporean chippers one day and also get a feel for those beauties.

Those CM BTP look great. How do they feel? I have been watching the group buys but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Congrats on your consistency, could probably learn a thing or two from these games. Shame I live on the other side of the word :D

They feel like ceramic, have a higher pitch sound when shuffling. So if you don’t like Ceramic, you probably will not like CM. I will suggest getting some samples.

Best part I felt about CM is that you can customise whatever design you like.

I couldn’t afford the Real BTP and CM BTP is a good replacement options for me

They are definitely worth it at the price-wise, very consistency for the QC in my batch too but they do have more spinner issue after a good amount of usage which you might want to take it into consideration

Thanks you

Playing at $1/$1 Stake NLH
Using B&G Golden Palace Set with Faded Spade Cards
(Was playing like $1/1/2/4 toward the latter part of the session when everyone is getting deepstack so 1000 BB win in reality is more like 250 BB win)

In for $200 Out for $1,219

Bad luck, you can't win them all.
I been on a good run so no complain here especially since it's less than 100bb loss

How do these cards feel? I assume they're the standard china produced ones. Any difference between all the chinese brands?
It's one of the better & Nicer Chinese brand that I enjoy.

Below is the Current 4 Chinese Decks in my rotation.

SlowPlay V2 (This is the best of the Lot)
BenNiu
GYT
SlowPlay V1 (My least favorite of the Lot, V2 is such an improvement over V1)

I like variety of rotation for my Chips as well as for my Cards so as long they don't get sticky or become marked card, I tend to use them in my rotation

Very interesting about the cards, I'll need to have a look at some of them. Unfortunately all of them are always marked up when sold in Aus. I'm actually Singaporean myself so I'll have to get them the next time I go back!

I got them from TaoBao, so direct sales from China.

I not sure how much is the differences in Shipping thou to Aus vs to SG

Nice, there's quite a number of Singapore Chippers around here

Yeah shipping is quite expensive - more than the decks so not worth it

Yeah, hoping to go back end of the year - will be the first time back since covid. Maybe I can join the PCF meetup session if one is running to get to know some of you guys :)

Which is which?

I see Slowplay's site is selling the ones in the dark case labeled 03/04 as "Premium Playing Card Set" and the ones in the white case labeled 01/02 as "Plastic Playing Cards". Are the dark 03/04 cards the ones you like better?
