League format for cash games (2 Viewers)

I like cash games because they're easy to host. Give me money I give you chips. Then give me chips and I give you money. I don't want to score anything I don't want to track anything, show up play cards and have 1 to 7 drinks, and eat well!
Not necessarily true. Look at the cashless game thread. You need a master's degree in VBA for Excel to run your game.

Yeah, every game has it's nuance, probably no game is truly easy to host.....and if it is....its not a game you want to go to.

Greater likelihood of being very annoyed with lack of seriousness.

Primarily to promote consistent attendance and new player interest.

Overall rewarding engagement.
Cash game players prefer them over tournaments for the simplicity. There's no overarching dynamics like rising blinds, ICM, risk of ruin, etc. Every hand, in essence, happens as a standalone event. You can play for as long as you want, won't be at a disadvantage for showing up late, etc.

These benefits aren't enhanced by some type of external point tracking system designed to reward participation.

If these are indeed your motivations, provide a quality environment and an enjoyable experience. Have good food/snacks/soft drinks/adult beverages, clean, quality equipment, comfortable chairs... decent music/TVs in the room... the list goes on. If you need to take a small house fee to fund the cost of consumables, most people won't object as long as you're acting in good faith.

Yeah they really can be easy to host. Exchange cash for chips, reverse that at the end of the night. The only pain is cleaning up after the slobs/drunks.

If I or my players wanted all of those stats we would just join a fantasy football league.
