Very well said buddy, and I believe we have all been on the receiving end of bad transactions! You have been very clear on everything!! We are just anxious to see the plaques listed for sale!! Good work sir!! Fellow chipper Ben
Thanks Ben, I appreciate that. I am trying my best to do them justice and keep buyers as informed as I can.
Please bear with me a little longer as I hope to start the "Sale" by next weekend if possible.
Have a good one.

Haha just crossing my fingers that I can get one of those hot pink and hot yellow plaques the 50, 100 but they will probably all be gone!! Either way thank you for sharing your treasure with the community buddy!!

Thanks for the comments and messages, all (well, most of you).
The most consistent thing being mentioned is that lots of people seem to think they won't be able to afford any of them. As I have said, I have lots of some types, less of others, and although the very best condition ones (and next couple of grades which are "normal" for the sort of age they are but with small faults and issues of which there are a few but mostly only 2 or 3 issues on each plaque) are not going to be cheap, a bargain as far as I am concerned but I'm bias, the lesser condition ones are still presentable and I will try to ensure that at least one denomination will be available at a price to suit every pocket. Even if it is a bubblegum type one as a freebie in with the other stuff (chips/jetons etc) if you buy.
Yes I know, too many words but I can't help it. I actually hate talking (and typing) but needs must.
I expect the beautiful ones to fly out to be totally honest as they really are impressive and I dare you to find a comparable set anywhere in the world let alone anywhere near the prices I will be asking/hoping for. The "Average" ones will also do well once people start seeing them. Ha, average ones are better than most of my other casino plaques from that era (French ones don't survive well either if "mistreated"), which leaves me some of the "dross" to add to larger orders and others as freebies and a thank you for buying them. Seriously though even the "dross" aren't that bad, some of them.
Not that it matters to you lot (but it does to me) there will be a 5 - 10% charity donation for every sale (at my end obviously). Battersea are doing pretty well at the moment but after every 10 sales the charity will change. It will be paid as I go along. A small thing but worth mentioning as it means any buyers will be helping charities out too. Cheers all.

It’s an incredible find, and I also would love to build a set out of them, but price wise , looks like I will definitely be watching from afar.
Mike

Give me a shout after a few of the great/good ones have gone Racer96, as I say, I'd like lots of people to get the chance to own at least one and am trying to price and grade for every pocket (even my tightarse one).

Look away now if you are not keen on lots of words and if you don't mind reading my drivel (or are forced to as you want a plaque or so (sorry about that), make yourself comfortable..............
I hope to start selling the James Bond type plaques next weekend (haha, if I don't have a breakdown first).
I had better elaborate, that'll get rid of some of the non readers that didn't read the first sentence, as I want no confusion about these.
The plaques that I have been showing off (for once in my sad life) are of the same type, era and denominations of the 4 plaques seen in the film "Dr No" and until somebody finds me a list of the ones used I have no idea if used in the film or not BUT they would have been lent to them by the Le Cercle casino (within Les A) and these are the exact same type as shown/used and 100% genuine. Trust me, they are kosher. So it is a distinct possibility I may have them.
I have a lot of some, fewer of others (as I have explained throughout my threads) and obviously varying grades and degrees of beauty.
These are now probably going to be sold (or attempt to) singularly so people can mix and match for their budget requirements.
I hope to have a price guide and a picture guide to help us all by then but only if the missus is still talking to me or this may be the last you hear from me (thank fu*k for that I hear them cry). Relax, you'll only get to see it if interested so some of you can go back to the TV soon.
More details will be forthcoming over this week so it all might change again but there are so many options my brain's fried now (days ago actually).
I have ones that look like they were made yesterday (sorry they are NOT cheap although I think they are for what the are and represent but hey, I'm biased). The next grade will have small faults but be just as beautiful. 3rd grade will be the usual sort of condition you find this era plaques in (ink spots on back, slight pushed middles, need another clean etc etc) but in the main, minor. Next 3 or 4 grades will have more of the faults but still actually pretty nice on the eyes.
Obviously this is the short version and anybody who decides to splash out will get good photos of the ones they hope to buy and a description as I really do want everybody to be as happy as Larry when they receive them. Most people don't grade their plaques (I can see why) but I feel these are too important not to so (as I keep waffling on about) I want to do them justice. Yes I really am that stupid.
Examples are shown underneath just to keep the non readers occupied and are pretty obvious I feel. The picture guide should be even better and easier (for me mainly) to follow. I bloody well hope so.
If nobody is interested I will happily write off my investment and just buy a roulette wheel, sit in the summer house and amuse myself, sod yers. Sorry, only kidding, I think the breakdown is starting. I will be listing them elsewhere (chip board, eBay at some stage and FB, why I bother I don't know but hey got to try). Actually I do have pre-orders so at least some will escape to appreciative collectors of casino stuff, Bond and maybe even the Beatles fans.
Wait until you see the ones from the 1970s (I think), you won't need a viagra (if that way inclined) and all are in beautiful condition with low numbers as I doubt that many were made. Prices will be made available to those that inquire first and then probably on here but not yet. If you stayed until here then you are either interested, bored or something else but thanks to all that did. FFS shut up! All done, bye.
I bet I still missed about 6 things that popped into my head as I was typing this novel but hey, another time perhaps.

Wow @UKcollector, how did this post slip by me. An awesome find on the SuperGems (LgGrKey). Will definitely be interested when/if playable quantities/sets become avaiable. As you know playable SuperGems (LgGrKey) sets are getting harder & harder to find.

Sorry mate, no idea but you probably have too much going on like me so it is easy to do.
I will have playable sets of the beautiful LGK ones for definite. Just depends on price and condition wanted really. These and the jetons will probably be available as larger sets (jetons are limited though if all values wanted). I have had 3 or 4 enquiries and am happy to "haggle" (to a point) so I'll put you on the list as a possible if okay with you. Another set I'm getting ready to list but not finished yet (last photo). Really unusual and actually quite beautiful too.
Cheers, have fun.

Sorry but I just have to show these off!! Be silly not to. I'm positive somebody else will get a thrill from seeing them (just not in the flesh).
These are not for sale at the present time!! I believe that these are what are called (by me) "The Dog's bollocks"! Anybody want to argue?
Sorry (again, seem to saying that a lot recently), I have had a few inquiries on these already but more research needed and if there is any set I should keep, it's this one (plus a better £50 of course). None are in Exceptional but 2 "average" and a manky works for me anyway. Any condition would have done to be honest. The 6 people (there will be more I'm sure) will just have to be patient.
Oh and the only 2 0007s so far too (because they HAD to have been in the film of somebody missed a trick but don't quote me, just dreaming).
Now, excuse me while I run around naked in my garden for 10 minutes!

Quick one, boring really but last new find I think.
Not including all the colour chips that have never been seen either.
HHR, Jockey, SGK, all worn but the odd decent one so..........
Only thing I would like to see in there is the HHR 50p and that is still a possibility. That means that every one known and on the guide (mainly by me over the years so maybe fate I found them) I now have at least 1 of each and 100s of some. This really is a treasure trove, I must say (state the obvious).
Scary investment if I'm honest but looks like it may pay off with some profit (eventually) and leave me some too. I'll be able to eat again soon.
A good chance to show off one of the 1970s (probably) plaques too.
Top 1 is one of 3 ONLY (a number 1, number 10 and a partly decayed one that has changed colour and look but still nice. Now it doesn't look pearl effect which I wouldn't know if I didn't have the other 2 I suppose) which is a shame but I'm not complaining, good to have even 1.
Not sure where it fits in chronologically but at this moment I don't really give a fu.., sorry, hoot.
The £10,000 is an absolute stunner too. Only 15-20 sets may be available in the future and range from 0002 - 0015/20. They are extra singles too (mainly £1000 and slightly more £5000s of the later type not the one shown) which may be added to the LGK chip sets if required but I'll get to that in due course. There are also smaller versions of the £50 and £100 "Bond type" (as I call them in public) which have aged a lot better than the originals.
If these don't stir something down there, you're looking at the wrong stuff for you. Sorry but it's true.
The (what I believe to be) first original set (£1000s) that I thought were totally knackered seem to have decided they are not yet done and the one I took out and wiped (more work needed) is passable. Put it this way, I have happily bought and sold ones that were worse and they were just the Coronet ones (Glasgow) from the 1970s I think. The only thing that is missing is a £100 plaque of the same set that I know exists (I know of only 1) but I've had more than enough excitement and don't think my heart would be able to take finding a couple of those as well so, I'm happy. Extremely happy bunny.
Sorry non readers and uninterested parties but you'll be pleased to know I'm done. Almost.
It's just so easy to wax poetical about these, well for me obviously. I hope others feel the same but to be brutally honest, if not, am I bothered? Hmmm, nah.

Sorry all, unforeseen circumstances and more than a few "issues" will mean that the start of my "Sale of the Year" will be delayed. More needs to be done and found out about preserving them as some people are saying some "derogatory" or negative things in certain circles it seems so I need to get it done right, not just for me but also for any prospective buyers. There will be an offer for me to use a special polish I now know about (free service) or take them as they are. Personally I think they are probably going to outlast me as they survived for 27 years in a barn and are over 50 years old so I doubt I will be bothering personally, plus they are sweating a little as many of this style/era tend to do but I think it's the change of scenery/temperature now that they are in the house poisoning me. Obviously I can't guarantee that where they go to will be an ideal setting for them but with some thought and careful attention I honestly expect no problems with them after they leave me. And yes I am getting loathe to let any go at the moment, I love them. Yes they smell a little (none that I have form then don't) but small amounts is ok, just when lots together it's obviously a little more noticeable.
They will also be available mainly as singles as (in my opinion) it the £50s and £100s that are the most "historic" ones and the others are added "extras" really. I think there are only 2 £500s seen in the film and Bond has those and the £10s are seen but not an integral part so............£5s are a lovely bonus as an extra "angle" as they would also have been lent out to the film company. I believe this will make it easy and cheaper for more people to own one. Obviously sets will be available too on request (including tailored ones if possible) but as I learn more about the amounts it has adapted over the last few days with lots of advice and other comments being taken on board too. Everybody who has messaged me will be contacted about their specific wants when I can but the "General Sale" will not be for a couple more weeks now. Plus it helps me in many ways, takes some of the stress/pressure to be honest. I was either naive/stupid or just ambitious to think I could get it all done in 2 weeks, what was I thinking. It's the fumes and lack of sleep probably. I hope I haven't disappointed too many people but I have to feel "right" about the way this is done so flexibility is crucial and the last thing I want is unhappy buyers. Thanks for your time and hope to speak to many of you again in the near future.

No worries and take your time. The plaques/jetons/chips are yours. You have done more to be forward about the varying condition than anyone could expect.

Sorry all, things are going a bit "tit's up" as a few issues have arisen (not all connected to the Le Cercle stuff as some personal things have appeared that need swift attention for other people's sakes) so my hoped for sale has definitely been delayed (maybe weeks as mentioned on Friday. Friday? I thought it was weeks ago I mentioned that, hmmm) although some "boring" pieces may soon be on eBay (later today if I can get some of the other stuff photographed in time) as I want to get at least some the other things out to show that it is a hiccup only and normal service will resume soon. All of the people who have had contact with me have NOT been forgotten and I will make sure that you get at least 1 of the set (hopefully more) even if I have to give you (or as good as give you if more pieces, so probably so cheap even I would buy one and trust me I can be a right tightwad) a not so great £50 or something as a thank you for your encouragement and kind words so please don't worry as you will get you hands on at least one of the historic pieces and you will probably want more (even if just the chips/ jetons and other interesting stuff). I hope I haven't disappointed too many people (probably not as I may have overthought/played how popular they will actually be when released at last) as I really wanted to avoid that. I only want to see Happy Bunnies when people open their personal packages and be inundated with good vibes not sad ones (yes I am sad but in a totally different way, you may have been able to tell by now methinks). Right, quick update finished so now my awful Arnie impression, "I'll be back"!!

to break up the cleaning....
The funny thing is that in the hands of somebody with more expertise in this sort of thing (wouldn't be hard) instead of a clueless amateur like me, most of the "average" ish ones could be improved with a much more detailed clean, polish and a little more work in general. And it wouldn't take that long either. I just can't spend too much time on them. When I get the working condition guide/scale together and am happy with it you will know what I mean. My average seems to be no different to many of the ones I was sold that were allegedly great. Only slight dull look, 2 or 3 ink blisters on the backs and some fading/colour run being the main offenders that make a top grade one not and I have to lower the grade and price obviously and if you look at my eBay feedback I am well known for undergrading my rare Elvis records to my own detriment (monetary wise) but would much rather do it like that and somebody gets a pleasant surprise than the other way around. I like to think it's got me repeat sales in the end so it all works out. Seriously I am probably being a lot more brutal on my gradings than the dealers/experts as I am, as I said, an enthusiastic amateur who would prefer everybody that buys one to be more than happy as opposed to making a quick buck. Yes, sounds too good to be true but I really am that "stupid", check my feedback if the link is still here somewhere. I don't do lies and I ain't orange so I like actual facts (or mine but at least verifiable) as opposed to alternative facts. My mental issue nobody else's. Is there anybody else thinking "Oh why can't you just f**k off now" which means it's a good time to do just that. Have a great weekend all.

All is good, we can certainly wait. If you have some other stuff to take care of, then that deserves your full attention. Once people have paid, and they are waiting for shipping, then we can be impatient, but right now, you could cancel the entire thing and nobody would have a right to complain.

When you're ready, we're ready.

Interested in the price of a small LGK set. How much for:

150 $1
150 $5

Condition: Good - near mint (must stand on edge)

How about a rough estimate?

Please make your answer 10 words or less, but you can use as many numbers as you want. :D

Side note: If I win the lottery in the near future, I'm going to have a tournament that starts at 50/100 and uses only the plaques.

Tell me about it, I'm almost loathe to let any go now after spending so much time with them but they need to go to better homes quickly so I can relax, get some of my investment back and then just play silly buggers with the rest. As mentioned at the very beginning of this increasingly long journey (as they like to spout nowadays) I actually only came on here to sell some LGK sets if possible but got carried away and told most of the whole story stitching myself up a little in the process but hey, sod it. I've never been one for shouting things from the rooftop and when I did dealing competitions I struggled with the attention as I like to be in the background but due to my reputation and yes, skills, I never quite managed it and there always seemed to be some manager who wanted me to get on which I hated so I usually moved on and downwards and it just kept happening again and again so I left the business to live in the country, easy life she said, bollox. Any way, background BS over now almost time for bed as my wall hit me in the face 2 hours ago but I promised to list a plaque so have to hang on. Especially as I have spent all day co-coordinating with 2 potential buyers ...............Fingers crossed 99p isn't the final total but if so then somebody gets a bargain at least so no harm done. Oh and sets will definitely be available of the beautiful LGK ones eventually (MINT unused no less) and I hope to put together a couple of lesser condition ones too (you can hardly tell really but I'm being brutal at the moment so make the most of it and they are only slightly rounded if all seen together but perfect if not ) just like the "average" plaques v the Top "dog's testicles" ones. The best ones ain't cheap but it'll give the owner a large advantage in their home games I reckon as it will blow their opponents minds especially if mind games are involved already so well worth it. So hurry up and win the lottery Warewulf as a set of £5 and £10 plaques (a small one, but ain't they all) may become able in a few months, just in time for Christmas. Yes I know, fu*k off for crying out loud but more pictures will probably be available soon I hope and are a lot less painful than my pathetic ramblings. Hope some of you will enjoy. If not please don't bother telling me as it may not end well (probably for me but hey).

That makes 2 of us at least mate (and probably a lot more) but it's all a bit surreal so...............

I have no idea what’s going on in this thread...
Person found hoard. Person is overwhelmed not only with the extent of the hoard and the work involved, but also the responses from people to the find, which are both positive and negative.

There may be a job for you here you know soon, FDL. I was just going to say ignore my ridiculous rambling rubbish so again, cheers.
I have just been trying to inject my weird "sense of humour" into it too and failing dismally as it is an acquired taste obviously but it's helped me focus a bit more on the mammoth task ahead and broken up the monotony too. Oh and I'm British so that doesn't help in the slightest so..............And I've learned that my style of writing absolutely sucks so hey, works for me and sorry not for many, many others. I never wanted to be an author anyway. Pity though as I like to entertain and make people smile if I can or at least confirm what a weird git I am which can almost be as enjoyable but here I go again. I'll leave you lot alone and just get on with it but again, thanks to 3 or 4 of you for the encouragement (especially a certain 2 individuals who know who they are. They must be sick to death of me and probably from about 12 days ago so my apologies). Hopefully those who don't understand will do other, more important things instead of wasting time trying to work what the hell is going on here and I'll just update those that wish to be bored from now on (personal invites no less) and now I really am done.

Ok, as somebody suggested, this thread is now finished and a much less cluttered one with just the basics will be made. I will say some stuff but overall the pictures will do it as these really do sell themselves and need to help from me and my BS facts so...............It will be for sets of playable LGKs as mentioned a lifetime ago.
Thanks, bye.
