Do these look any good? All secondary

$1 - White (canary yellow, light blue, carrot)
$5 - Cherry (gray, indian blue)
$25 - Day Green (mauve, orange)
$100 - Black (hot pink, lemon green)
$500 - Blaze Orange (almond, dark brown)
$1000 - Blurple (radient red, sherbet orange)
Those hundreds are gorgeous!! Sale, Sale, Sale, Sale!

Half of my chips showed up today. Other half seem to still be in the US somewhere. The post is likely in disarray due to the pandemic so hopefully they show. The first batch was in great shape with no visible damaged chips and boy are they lovely.

Thank you for bringing more chips to the site!! And thank you for listing the colours, saves a lot of time.

Will there be any additional chips with this sale (roulette's, etc)?

And, a question I've always wanted to ask. Do you have a killer personal collection of chip sets? I sure you keep a set for yourself of each of these sets.

I have a feeling that business @TheChipRoom is going to be booming if this COVID19 stuff causes casinos to be forced too close for long enough.

But with the economy not putting enough dollars into chippers pockets, I wonder about long term feasibility of sales. I know there are many rich members though. YMMV

I think that some casinos will go under and he will buy the chips (hopefully), but he might just hold them and slowly release the chips until the economy recovers. Or just hold the chips and release them when the economy recovers and he can sell them. Either way if casinos go under hopefully we will end up with more chips that are available on the market.

Good points! I figure Uncle Jim is immensely loaded too! So there is that...

Getting slow rolled by Canada Post.

This morning showing it was out for delivery. I watched the postman come and go. Checked the status in the afternoon, shows it's "re-routed" due to a "processing error".

Hopefully that just means they left it behind and I get it tomorrow. Running good so far tho, as no duty/brokerage fee required on the first box.

First post.....I’ve been lurking for awhile but the first time I stumbled onto a sale and pulled the trigger. Love these Lady Lucks and super excited to have someone bring chips like these to the market! I did miss out on the pinks so if anyone bought too many (probably not really a thing here) I’d love to buy one rack. Quick thanks to everyone for providing such great info on chips and all things poker. Can’t wait for them to arrive!

Rest of the chips arrived and they're still awesome. The box was in pretty rough shape....

The postal service during a pandemic I guess. Picking it up I could hear the dreaded sound of lose chips.

Thankfully there were no real casualties. All chips were packaged in chip boxes but I think an impact must have busted one of them open as at the bottom of the box I found this...

No broken chips, surprisingly. This rack, however, did suffer from some color transfer and a few minor flea bites on about 10-15 of them. I reached out to Jim to let him know. He immediately offered to get me a some spares even though this was the fault of the post. Great service from the Chip Room as usual.

Here's a comparison of chips. Neither are oiled and both have been dusted off and shuffled.

Left: from the busted rack. Right: from the intact rack.

So I decided I'd take 10 of the most dinged up chips from that rack and try the water/oil trick to pretty them up and it didn't disappoint.

Left: unoiled chips from an intact rack. Right: oiled chips from the rack that broke open.

Is the community split between oiling new Paulsons because those 10 oiled chips look and feel soooo much better than any of the other stacks of the 1200 that I ordered.

I'm really tempted to oil the set now. Thoughts?

I struggle with this for the tournament chips. I oiled one of the T25, T100, and T500. The T100 and T500 really benefit from a little oil.

Casino chips get oiled quickly and naturally by having hundreds of thousands of fingers on them immediately. Unless you plan on getting that much action at your home game, oil those suckers so they can be in their rightful condition.
