After many years of chipping, I stand by the notion that one of, if not the hardest kind of set to aquire is a TRK tournament set. I've seen very few over the years. Up for sale is my TRK Kings Crown set including the very hard to find upper denoms 1k-10k. The 1ks in particular are extremely hard to find in any quantity.

Breakdown
25 - 148
100 - 186
500 - 91
1000 - 66
5000 - 56
10000 - 54
601 total
+ Acrylic Dealer Button

*Note: there is some discoloration on a bunch of the 10ks. I don't think this can be cleaned as I've tried in the past without success. The rest of the chips are all in excellent-NM conditon with sharp edges

$3600/set shipped CONUS

Just asking, because I truly do not know. Are these part of a fantasy set or were these made for a casino.

to my knowledge, it's sort of both. there was a king's crown casino that never opened, so t.r. king got stuck with the chips and sold them off. then they just kept selling them as fantasy chips, and there were various versions along the way.

The chips above were 'stock' chips that could be ordered anytime.

The 'real' chips are shown on this page:

Only the 'table' chips are 'real'. The rest are samples and 'fake' aka fantasy.

When they were open, you could use the fantasy inlay on custom chips. If you look at the 'table' chips, the colors are different. There's a gold color on the real chips. That wasn't used on the fantasy version.

I hadn't looked at that page in a while and didn't know there was ever a giant inlay option. Plus didn't know zig zag was a TR King mold. Though I do have a rack of zig zag chips that came in a TR King box and seem like unweighted TR King.
