We're always looking to add new things to our list of all things Key West.

Recently, I found these, and got samples:

Palm tree lapel pins
by Jim Clift Designs of Coventry, Rhode Island
Gold color
3/4 " tall x 1/2" wide
(You can cover the entire tree with a nickel)

This ad photo doesn't do the pins justice. They have nice detail. The 3/4" size is very standard for a lapel pin or hat pin. The gold surface is mirror-polished and reflective, so the pin is a bit more reflective than this advertising photo. The base material is die-cast pewter. The palm tree has a single pin on the back and attaches with a round butterfly clutch back.

This is not a custom item made for the Key West, but the similarity to the two palm trees in the Key West logo is striking, and it appears to be basically our Key West palm trees in reverse.

Materials: Pewter, covered in a reflective gold color which may be brass, electroplate or some other finish. (It's not solid gold.)

These pins are perfect for wearing as a lapel pin, but also work as a hat pin, a tie tack , a door prize, a tournament prize, a game night memento, or a gift for a the golfer or the drinker (if that's not the same person) in your family this Christmas. They're easy to add to your next Key West order, as they won't add to your shipping cost.

Price:
$3.79
for one
$7 for two

Shipping:
Free if added to a larger order. If shipped as a stand-alone item in its own envelope:
$3 for U.S. shipping covers up to 4 pins

At the Key West Resort & Casino, we sell Key West Resort & Casino gaming items -- real clay professional casino chips, playing cards, dealer buttons, and more than 50 other items. Most of our products are made in the United States and have been exported to 17 countries worldwide. We use a portion of the profits from those sales to reduce the cost of Key West Resort & Casino chips to buyers who appreciate a traditional American clay casino chip with a classic Old Vegas style.

Uncanny resemblance, Dennis! You should give some thought on how to turn some of those into Key West card cappers -- I bet you'd sell quite a few. Maybe remove the pin and attach it to a high-denom or roulette KW chip?
