Man I love these chips. My dream set. Congrats! Glad you were able to get a set, and congrats on the patent!

With some christmas day wheeling and dealing I was able to fill out my AS Hotstamps. As part of the deal I picked up some additional AS T25s and AS T100s that I'm in the process of catch and releasing but the current count is:

180 T25
260 T100
100 T500
100 T1,000
80 T5,000
20 T25,000

The T25,000 are purely for fun and really don't have a place on the table.

I've only ever really hosted cash games and while I can cover the normally prescribed 12/12/x/x/x breakdowns for a STT with color ups and rebuys I think pretty handedly, but with what I've got I ask, 'what should I keep as the meat, what's the stuff I can keep for buffer and where is the fat?' The current plan is to sell off 20 more of the T25s and 100 more of the T100s but is that going in the right direction? Going to tag in @BGinGA for some advice from the expert.

The other kinda open question is I do have the STT set that supports 10 players doing 8/8/6/6/2
80 T25
80 T100
80 T500
80 T1,000
40 T5,000

The set is made from milled THC Solids with custom labels. The conundrum facing me is do I really need two sets, especially given that this one is so much smaller. Both sets are T25 based and this one can really only do a STT with minimal/no rebuys. Should I relabel it to a different denomination(how hard is it to remove gear labels and affix new ones), should I sell it off and let someone else relabel it, should I just keep it and use it when I want to play a tournament but only expect 6/8 people to show up?

Really happy with the Aurora Stars and will have some full set pr0n soon for them.

** I apologize again for another Ben book but you asked!! @detroitdad you know this story brother... you don't have to read it, if you do... don't yell at me!! Lol

I feel bad for not naming their creator and owner, my awesome buddy @Ronoh . I had absolutely nothing to do with Pillage n Plunder. I just whole heartedly believe they are the greatest customs ever made!

Everyone has their opinion on this subject but I am obsessed with Pirates, my jaw dropped to the floor the very first time I ever saw the set. The color combinations, the time spent on every single chip in this line up... btw they all have names (the individual chips) I will tag you in the original thread so you can check them out!

My favorite CPC mold, white and black opposite inlays. Fink just totally made the perfect chip set!!

I reached out a few times just crossing my fingers that I could get a single chip for a card capper. Fink was taking a break and dealing with life at the time...

@detroitdad and @Lil Tuna worked together to send me an anonymous Hundo... literally cried the day it came in... almost dropped it shaking so much! Brie hugged me and said are you ok?? I said this is a F**king Pillage + Plunder chip... I'm nobody, I don't deserve to own this... tearing up thinking about that day!
(With a promise made that we Will play in Detroit some day!!)

I had it as a capper and promised to always have it on the table when I play!!

Fast forward, Fink logs back on and reads my messages, again they get my address and this showed up in my mail box.

With this note that I will always have, and plan to professionally have framed with my samples!

As you can see I got 2 $1,000s so I added my hundo to the sample set and now carry a 1k chip...

I couldn't agree more... The Green Flash was nailed from The Pirates of the Caribbean... red sky at night sailors delight! Chip color matching and aligned with the inlay... try to beat that chip... it's not possible!!

My sample is not complete, but I have most of the beauties!!

So we were helping our buddy @toynoob host a meet up in Ohio in October, basically we bring the chips and help him host... when we were all discussing which chips to take... again my buddy Fink being the coolest guy ever heard about this game. He had sent the set to @inca911 for his meet up as a guest set and he couldn't attend... they worked together and sent 2 packages to lend us the entire line up in playable quantities!!

Brie was so excited and knew this was happening!! I open the box from Forrest saying what the hell is he sending me, why is Brie so damn excited??

Again I bust out crying asking why are these chips in our house... shaking and trembaling....

She said Fink herd about the game and knew you love for his chips and wanted to offer them as a guest set... can you even imagine sending $5,000 plus in chips to someone you have never met in person???

Fink knew they would be perfectly safe!! Even bought them their own case!! Lol

I could talk about how amazing these chips are every single day!!

Saddly soon they will be off to their home, but if you ever hear of a game and these are in play... cancel your wedding and Go play these chips!! Lol

I feel like this has been the peak of my chipping career! I don't think I will ever place a set higher in my rankings, I love lots of chips obviously, I love rare TRKs... I have had the opportunity to play several amazing TRK sets... I would pick these every single time!!

Pillage and Plunders biggest fan!! Ben
This is a great story..... if these chips are still in ur possession when covid subsides it Would be great to play with them At a local game. I agree that the 1k chip is awesome ( the others as well). The way that the edge spot design matches the inlay is incredible. Very creative. Well done!

I'm working on a thing.

This isn't the second set I finished, but it is the second I started. I knew for a smaller tournament set I wanted to do all solids and I wanted to stay relatively close to normal tournament colors, but wanted a bit of a spin on it. So T25s that were still green but a different shade of green, and T100s that weren't black, but relatively close to. I picked up a fair bit of other colors along the way, some great looking yellows, charcoals, and endless shades of blue before I got the ones that I wanted.

This is the first poker chip hunt I ever went on and it was a lot of fun to just prowl the classifieds constantly and then hunt through old posting asking chippers 'did you ever use that rack of X that you bought 9 months ago'. It was a lot of fun for sure.

@Josh Kifer did the milling, @timinater designed the labels, and @Gear printed them. All did an awesome job.

Some of the chips are fresher than others, the T25s have some love but aren't bicycle tires, same with the bounties. The T1000s and T5000s are as fresh as can be. Were I to do it all again I might have tried to get a similar level of wear on all of them. But I'm happy where I'm at.

Colors are:
T25 Indian Blue
T100 Plurple(or maybe more Purple?)
T500 Blue(Paulson Blues are impossible okay, it's just Blue)
T1000 Arc Yellow
T5000 Magenta
Bounty - Sam's Town $1s

All racked up and ready for transport. I bring enough to support 10 players in those 4x100 racks with 5 spares of each chip and the rack to left stays at home incase a chip gets lost anywhere.

Gotta have a splash pot:

Going to be selling this set this weekend. Don't need two tournament sets and I want the proceeds for other projects.

So, not quite pr0n, but a promise of future pr0n... but I have no joke something like 1500 chips arriving on Thursday. Where the hell am I going to hide this!?!

Looks great! I wish I had jumped in on the Zen group buy.
I was really excited about the plaques originally, but the more I see and use the low denoms for cash I love how colorful and vibrant they are.

$100 is still my favorite chip though.
