Cash Game Just Rolling In From Last Night (1 Viewer)

Some great poker at Chaosrock's house last night.

First off, I started with a .25/.25, 30.00 buy in at a buddy's bachelor party. Got the SP's into play for a few hours.

First hand though I get felted with I flop trip 4's and lose due to kicker issues. I play for 3 hours and am down a total of 20 bucks.

Then I head to Paulo's house for some .25/.50, 80.00 buy in. Crazy game. We had a PLO table and a Hold'em table for about half the night.

As expected, no chipstacks were safe at the PLO table. Most of us were experiencing a roller coaster effect with our stacks.

After combining it was mostly NLHE. That was fine. The money/re buys were still flowing.

These $5.00 chips were damn sexy!!!!

We played until 430-5 am this morning. He offered up his guest room so I took advantage of it for a few hours. As always he is a great host.

All in all I had a great evening. Cashed out with close to a 400.00 profit.

It was a great night of poker, thank you Paulo. I left at 1:15 for my 45 min drive home and the game was still going strong, I can't hang that late. There was much action indeed, a lot of it driven by Paulo's friend Adam.

Just remembered this hand. Earlier in the night at the PLO table we were playing PLO Double Board.

I have Ah/10/2c4c. Great PLO starting hand

6 player, loose, aggressive table. Somebody bet two bucks pre flop, everyone called, well, because its PLO DB

out of position dude pots it. I want to raise so bad. I mean, hell, I just love raising. After my internal battle I just call. Then a third player callers. OUTSTANDING.

first dude that potted it to 12 on the flop bets 40. Every fiber in my body is screaming "RAISE".......I don't want to chase the 3rd player out of the hand. After I push down my inner voice I just call the 40. Guess what, so does the third dude.......Awesome..........

Finally the out of position dude decides he is behind everyone and checks. I finally get to bet. I look Tarlos way. It looks like he has about 75. I make it a 75.00 bet. Tarlo tanks for 3-5 minutes. Curses at me, shoves for 81. Other dude folds.

I role over my nut flush on both boards. He roles over the second nut flush and I scoop a monster pot.

@detroitdad & @mike32 : Always awesome having you guys over! As Mike (thanks for the Rye man!!) always points out, we do have a GREAT group of guys playing our games... I feel so fortunate to have so many great games and hosts/players within a short drive...

Between players introductions, banking, grilling dogs, managing cold beers/drink, balancing tables, etc, I didn't have enough time to take enough pictures, so my apologies...

Game started around 7pm with a full table of NLHE/PLO... As more players arrived, we decided to break into two tables, one NLHE and one DC mixed games (mostly PLO/O8/BigO/Sohe)... Surprisingly (and gladly), there was more interest for the mixed game table... Because of that, so that the number of players was closer to even, I had to seat at the NLHE table... So I missed some of the craziness of the mix game table for a few hours...

The NLHE table started to loosen up though, and there some some big pots played... Due to a combination of coolers and bad play, I ended up getting stuck a few buy-ins...

As a few players were tapping out, we moved to a one full table of HOPS (NLHE, PLO, Crazy Pineapple, Sohe)... That happened around 12:30am if I remember correctly... I started to build my stack back up, specially in PLO and Sohe but not before I got felted again by nut Boat vs. second nut Boat in PLO... Won some big pots and ran my stack up to $400ish...

The hand Bill was referring to was a Sohe hand in which he potted pre, two caller and I flatted JJ & some sort of wheel draw on the PLO side closing the action... Flop is A49 Bill pots, fold around, I call with a wheel wrap + JJ on the Hold'em... Turn brings a 5 to give me the nuts on the PLO side... Bill pots, I repot he ships I call for a $700 pot... He shows set of As on the Hold'em and 2-pair + gutter on the PLO... River hits his gut and I get quartered... Well, I guess it's better than having him hitting his Boat outs and getting scooped...

We had a full table until about 3:30am and played 5-handed until 5am... Poker was awesome and the hang out even better... Had to grind tough to come back and finish up 1.5 buy-ins...
