JUNK CASINO - INLAY MOCK UP (FEEDBACK WANTED) (1 Viewer)

I think I'm figuring the template out but now I'm down the rabbit hole of creating new shapes. Essentially none of the , for lack of a better term, triangle inspired edge spots are on here. I've made a few different edge patterns and I'm hoping the spots line up on the edge of the chip.

Are we using "roughen" to give the spots their "natural" shape or are we all doing the pencil tool? That is time consuming!

I should have some mock ups soon... assuming I can figure out an edge spot progression I like. What a project this hobby is, lol.

I don’t use roughen to get that clay-like shape to edgespots. I prefer to do them by hand with the pencil tool. If you double click the tool, you can set the amount of smoothing that the tool generates.
I made a post about editing an edgespot while keeping the shape so it lines up with the rolling edge art:

After some (a lot) of trial and error, I started making some edge spot designs I thought were missing from the list. I also made 1 rough mock up to see how it was all coming together. I'm hoping the edge spots all line up. Most should since they're copies from that main file, but I'm worried about the modified 6D18 or having spots where they're not north/south/east/west.

There is a lot of pencil tool left to do but here is the latest update:
