Does anyone have information about the pictured chips? A quick look through the ol’ googely-moogely just gave me this, so safe to say the chips are well over ten years old?

It's odd that the poster on thechipboard seems to think this is a chip from a ship-board casino i.e. from an cruise liner (c.f. his reference to "wet collectors" - chips from cruise lines are also known as "wet chips"). It seems he saw the phrase "Only ships to USA" in the Worthpoint description and thought it meant "This hotstamp die was only used for cruise ships that were stationed in the USA" rather than "I, the eBay seller, will only ship this item to you, the buyer, if you are in the USA".

Might have to do some digging but it seems like Jatre + Co. was/is a company in the UK. Now thinking about how it says “imported by” might be something different, but not 100% sure. I would say 100% definitely over 10 yes old.

That Jatre Ltd in Shirley, UK seems to be only a month old, though it could of course be related. If an actual Jatre + Co. Ltd. did exist, the lack of evidence on the internet seems to suggest the company going under decades ago.
