Been using the app (with Twilio) for a couple of years, I think. Works great. THANK YOU!!!

Quick (minor?) question: Can you DELETE a past player from having access to the sheet in the future? We had a small personality issue with a player, and he was asked to "not return". All good. But now, maybe a year later, I see his "old" account/link is being used, to (apparently) see who's coming to the next game, and to make comments for that game. His old guest name has been changed, and he's un-checked in the active column. I figured he wouldn't be able to see anything, or logon or make comments...but after months of him being quiet, he's apparently back, making comments and making things weird. Anyway...any way to keep him fully out, so he can't use an old link and/or otherwise check out what the current gang is doing? Thx!

Wow. That’s a new one indeed.

There is no functionality to block a player and the system was designed to be fairly open for player simplicity.

However, I think there is an easy way to accomplish what you are looking to do. You’ll just need to do a new deployment to force the sheet to use a new web app URL. No need to start from scratch. Just start with step 11 in the ReadMe. From this point forward your current players will get new links and I’m pretty sure the old links will stop working. Or at the very least it won’t bring him to your current system.

Let me know how it goes.

Was kind of thinking about that same idea...unless you had a clear "DELETE" option. :)

I'll give it a try this weekend. Thanks!
You can delete the player and his personal link would stop working - which would eliminate his ability to comment, but the general link would continue to work and he could lurk around and watch.

I tried starting from step 11 on a copy of the file, but...I must have done something wrong because the "add new user" button just hung there, and trying to send invites didn't seem to trigger. I think we'll just deal with it for now (I deleted his guest line/data) and I'll start 100% fresh next season, with v4.x or whatever. Not a huge deal, completely a local/personality issue, but I think I'll start anew (without him) in a few months. Thanks for the continued support!
