I've noticed this last time I was in Vegas... many people with water and backpacks. I prefer to play in a game where some or majority of folks are drinking. I've associated this with a more relaxed and fun environment. I think this all works with lower stakes.

Not just in poker but life in general I have seen a huge drop in the number of friends who drink.

I am trying to pick up the slack.
