The print quality is excellent on these, and they feel pretty thick and durable. They are thinner than the cut cards. I have have a stack of 30 plaques in front of me from an old prototype set I made, and they are the same height as 3 mint Paulsons (so about 10mm in total, or .33mm each / 13 mil each). I just looked at a cut card GB and those are 24 mil. So these are more comparable to playing card thickness than cut card. I just compared to a few decks of cards I have and they are thicker than Desjgn cards and almost identical thickness to Modiano Clubs. The Modianos are some of the thickest cards I have (second to Faded Spade). They're definitely not rigid plastic but are by no means flimsy. The material is makeplayingcards.com's plastic stock that they print all their custom playing cards on, and the print resolution is as good as any plastic playing card I've seen. The texture is a smooth satin finish that has a similar texture/glossiness to newer Desjgn cards.@power13 Sorry, 13pt card stock doesn't mean anything to me. How do these compare (print quality and thickness) to typical cut cards like the ones we've recently had group buys for? I know the dimensions are bigger, so thinking these are thinner since price per card is lower.
The need for separate cards is definitely debatable. In using these like casino plaques to keep track of a mix rotation, many times there can be the high only and hilo variant in the same mix, so that's the main reason.Interested but is it necessary to have standard and the /8 version... ---8 is pretty self explanatory.
No Thermonuclear Armageddon Pineapple or Tahoe Pitch n Roll.... ouch
Maybe one extra card that says split pot, /8 or better. that can be used for all Hi/Lo split games?Interested but is it necessary to have standard and the /8 version... ---8 is pretty self explanatory.

TBH I'm trying to minimize the incremental design work and use my existing designs as much as possible. They took a ton of time! Adding games is less of an issue since I already have designs for about 50 other variants from my personal set.Maybe one extra card that says split pot, /8 or better. that can be used for all Hi/Lo split games?

That way we can all play double board 5 card Omaha Hi/Lo 8, and practice quarter pots.
How about the standard HI/LO button?Maybe one extra card that says split pot, /8 or better. that can be used for all Hi/Lo split games?

Those plaques came out awesome. For this GB we are making the compromise of not having separate plaques for fixed limit and big bet because it will create too much duplication and reduce the number of unique games in the set dramatically. It's definitely not ideal for a mix that is spreading LHE and NLHE as you said, but I think more folks tend to spread all limit or all big bet ...In for a set.
Both hi/lo and regular need included in order to maintain a "rotation" between whatever variants are chosen game time.. for instance if you choose limit HE & I choose NLHE you "need" separate plaques. p.s. just got these a couple weeks ago. Went for the standard 10 game WSOP mix.
