Hey everyone!

I've recently picked up some chips from someone locally that used to collect more back in the day. I was able to pick up a few CDI 98 THC chips that I've always loved and several other different racks as well. I'm still working to pick up a few others from them but these HHR chips are some that have really stood out to me.

I'll admit that I'm pretty much a novice and still learning chip molds so I'm not as familiar with Horse Head (HHR) molds. When I looked a few threads on the forums, it seems like most that I've come across were customs. However, these are from an actual casino that closed down back in the early 2000's in Seattle Washington.

Has anyone ever come across some of these chips before? They feel incredible and I haven't done anything with them except take them out of the box for pictures.
There is a full rack of $1's and 84% of a rack of $5's. I've never had any HHR chips so I didn't know if they were common for casinos to use or not.

Was curious if anyone else owns any or has come across them before. I attached a few pictures below as I still need to learn how to put the pictures in the actual thread! :p

They are less comon than the main players (Paulson, Bud Jones, etc) but not unique. Especially in Washington. The others that go with your set are these two:

Not a real shocker on the color scheme of the $25 huh? The chips were made by ASM (American Standard Molding)... I have a mixed casino set on the A mold from ASM from Washington Casinos. Kenmore Lanes, 21 Club, Drift on Inn & Forrest Grove Casino all had chips made by ASM. There are others as well, but those are the places that contribute to my set.

That $1 is a cool looking chip. Filling out your rack of $5's shouldn't be hard, but the $25's to get in playable quantity may be tough. TBH I haven't seen the $1's or $5's in quantity either so those are pretty neat.

Good find for sure!

Congrats buddy! Absolutely stunning chips!
I'll give you a great tip, you can add $25 to these beauties right now, at a great price! Write in the thread immediately that you are reserving a barrel and contact David. Do it right now to avoid missing them.

Then a rack of solid HHRs (0.25-0.5$) will be found and this will be a great set...

Thanks everyone for the info as it helps me a lot! I wasn't sure if there was any chance I could perhaps put something together but I'm feeling maybe there is a chance!
