I am still waiting on my sample set.... word is they arrive in Canada June 5th. One day, one day
FWIW many of us in Canada and Europe are seeing the same thing. It seems there is a "shipping partner" involved for many? most? all? international shipments via USPS these days, who take the parcels from whatever origins and ship them domestically (within the US) to a USPS facility. That gets a 16-digit tracking number which if you track it, says it's Delivered when it reaches USPS. Then it sits there for a day or two (or five or ten) until USPS "accepts" it, and it continues from there.
My IG sample set went through that quickly, but for instance @grantc54's sample set only arrived a couple of days ago (i.e. well after the main sale.)
Fingers crossed that your order doesn't languish too long. I have full confidence that all the packages in this pipeline will be delivered eventually, but some of them just might take longer than normal.
When I shipped to Canada and Britain, that is exactly what happened. It stopped somewhere in the US first and they do electronics customs forms and then are sent along to the next country. My shipment to Britain ended up with three different tracking numbers. I’m pretty sure Jim didn’t hand write out the custom forms, he probably used electronic forms and then they have to go to a different facility to be officially entered.

@xdan if your question has not already been answered, recently for international shipments this is normal. i've had packages sit there for 10+ days and arrive with no damages. i'm really not sure what they are doing there.
what i will say is, if your package goes to a new york airport, it will fly through very quickly. the average time for a package going through a CA airport for me is around 3 weeks, new york, around 6 days.

I use hot water, but not so hot that I don’t mind mixing the chips a bit by hand. The hot water cools pretty quickly.
Right, I always use hot water because I feel like it loosens the crud better. There have always been concerns and warnings here that water that is too hot will fade the colors - I can’t say one way or the other if that’s true, but I’ve heard it enough that I’m always mindful of it.

Yes water has warped leaded chips og mine also. I have settled on 38-42 celcius in my ultrasonic. if the water hurts your hands in any way it could warp your chips.I once used very hot (tap water) to clean my Cow Creek RHC $1’s. Are Majestic Star DB's also being done or too niche? Currently my 36mm's are paired with Death Stars and Millennium Falcons. Some MS buttons/cards would be fun. Could be a regular thing after a few chip launches for someone enterprising I bet.

Today seems to be my lucky day. DHL Express just delivered my chips to my house. The guy said that I have to pay something and it turned out he wanted 15€. This just never happens with German customs, I'm speechless.
Normally I would have to pick them up at the customs office, show a proof of payment and pay 19% on top of the amount the chips had cost plus shipping. Saved me around 160€

Yeah, cash only with the DHL guys. Condition of the chips is very good, pri $1s basically new and pri $25s also very nice. Didn't get any bearclaw $5s but sec $5s and $25s.

Yes, total value with shipping included. No customs fees for chips though but 19% VAT.
Your VAT in Switzerland is only 7%, right? Any other fees for packages?
Yeah, MwSt is 7.7% and then there's a surcharge of 3% of the value of goods and then a basic "processing" fee of CHF 16. That's for shipments with USPS/Swiss Post. Handling fees tend to be higher with DHL, UPS, etc...
