Sale Imperial Pacific Saipan (IPS) – CASH Set Sales: Main Cash Chips (MCC) & VIP Cash Plaques (VC1) (1 Viewer)

The sample set thread has the following chip breakdown.

1 – Bud Jones S2, 39mm
$2.50 – Bud Jones S2, 39mm
$5 - Bud Jones S2, 39mm
$25 – BG S2, 39mm
$100 – BG V-Series, 41mm
$500 – BG V-Series, 43mm
$1,000 – BG V-Series, 43mm
$5,000 – BG V-Series, 45mm

Here, I'm assuming that BG is short for Bourgogne et Grasset, but I could be wrong.

Two Questions

The $25 is Bud Jones, or BG? The above list suggests it's an S2, which I've only ever seen as a Bud Jones chip. Is there a BG S2?

Can we PCF'ers simply buy a rack from the "add on" section of the sale without buying a set? I've yet to get my hands on a barrel of BG and would love to pick one up, and maybe some minty Bud Jones too.
Anyone interested in splitting a rack of $100s? I’m thinking of getting the .25/.50 set and want to add on some $100s but don’t need a full rack. Willing to split a rack into barrels and reship if others have similar ideas.

(Unless there’s barrel pricing.)
I'd consider splitting a rack if they're selling them to non-set-buyers

The priority at this stage for addon racks would be first to set buyers. Upon fulfilment of all initial orders, Im sure we can sort you out with a barrel of something to add to your collection of different 'molds'

** Sealed racks are available upon request for an additional $30 per rack.
Sealed racks mean racks of a particular denom that have never been opened/felted?

What’s the condition of the non-sealed chips? Is there a lot of variation (and have you had to weed out any bad ones) or since the casino wasn’t open for very long they’re all VG+ or EX or better?

Thank you for clarifying this! I was hoping for a minimal T100 set based off of this thread, and it looks like that this point it's commit to the MCC 10¢/20¢ set or wait and see how much sells first.

Again, thanks for making these available to the community at reasonable prices!

Correct

non sealed chips range from never seen play to very slight signs of wear, in the form a scuff marks but they look similar to chips to sealed as they move in the racks during transportation.
Sealed racks are only available for BG chips. For whatever reason all the BJ racks have been opened. Its impossible to tell whats seen play and what hasnt as we dont have a reference point from unsealed BJ racks.

For the benefit of everyone reading this, assessing condition on plastics is vastly different to clays. They dont wear like clay do. The plastic can get scuff marks and some light scratching from normal use. The are basically indestructible and will last many lifetimes.

Is there a lot of variation (and have you had to weed out any bad ones) or since the casino wasn’t open for very long they’re all VG+ or EX or better?
TBH All the BG chips look to be in the same condition which is unplayed or unplayed adjacent. The BJ all look in similar condition to each other. Since we don't have any sealed racks, we can compare them to what we can confidently call unplayed chips.

If I had to give them all a condition ratings I would have to say EX+ assuming thats right next to unplayed.

I haven't seen a single trash chip yet but that mean that they dont exist. We will do our best to check what goes out but in the unlikely event one ends up with a janky chip or two, we will do our best to remedy the situation.

Ultimately the forum will decide how best to describe the 'condition' of these chips.

We want everyone to know that we will do our best to address any concerns people may have prior to and subsequent to the commencement of the sales which includes responding to these types of questions publicly.

In my opinion, the strength of this set, and what I've been looking forward to, is the possibility of a multi-table, T25 through at least 20k plaque set. I think that would be an unique and memorable experience for anyone who played in one, given all the variations in the chip sizes and the addition of multi-sized plaques.

Any chance y'all could update with a set that meets that criteria, or else help noobs like me understand which packages go together to accomplish that?

I’d be down with this!

Post the breakdown you want and I will work it how to achieve that for you.

This applies to anyone else looking for a multi-table or alternative breakdown not shown.

There is essentially infinite combinations and we have done our best to present and offer the most common breakdowns used here on PCF whilst taking into account all the logistics to make it happen. e.g. We spent three 10+ hour days taking photos for these sales. If we had to take photos of every permutation we will still be taking photos and the sales would never start! :ROFLMAO:

I typically don't love plastic chips...

You did a great job constructing logical sets! What I want in particular is a bit odd considering how few chips I would need, but because it was mentioned, here's the specific breakdown I was looking for.

100x $100
40x $500
80x $1,000
80x $5,000

300 total chips

I hope this helps!

Noted. We will have some tournament sets that will get very close to that breakdown. Might be a case of purchasing a set and offloading a few peices of what you dont need to end up at that particular breakdown.

Have weights been posted? I’m curious if these are weighted S2 or not. Especially the $1. Thanks

Another member posted this recommendation (sorry, I can't remember who) and it always struck me as the most efficient 1-2 table tournament set up. Not sure how the plaques would play into it (or at all), but reposting in case helpful.

$25 - 160
$100 - 160
$500 - 80
$1k - 140
$5k - 60

$10,000 starting stacks:
1 table tournament, 12/12/5/6
2 table tournament, 8/8/4/7

Would it be possible to have a tournament set that also includes plaques?

Is this set with this breakdown is being offered as part of the sale? I'm interested
