As I've noted on a few threads, my birthday is this weekend (Aug. 28) and I figured there was nothing more I would rather do than stay home and play poker with family and friends.

I'm now hosting the most players I've ever had for various cash/tourneys leading up to a cool main event for Saturday night. I wanted to create this thread to "showcase" various cool moments throughout and hopefully create a cool tradition that I can look back on leading up to future birthdays.

As I've said before, if you happen to find yourself around Corpus Christi, TX, and enjoy taking money from players who don't know the difference between a straight and a flush, my PM's are always open.

It's only right that my first "showcase" of the weekend be a group photo of the various chips in rotation across all scheduled events.

Oh I thought when you had a birthday you were supposed to drink as many beers as the age you're turning? Is that not how that works?

I did it for 21. I was smart though. Starting drinking 9am and spread it out until midnight. Still would never do it again.

I'd be dead if I did it now 10 years later.

Hopefully this encourages people to re-buy although there is the risk of people trying to lose first to say they got a trophy

@Highli99 also has a toilet trophy for last place... but they all stay at his house, when the first player busts out, all previous Trophy winners have to stop and take a shot from their toilet!

I guess it's a right of passage! Lmao

I’m running unlimited re-buys for 2 hrs. You only get the Last Place trophy if you bust out and don’t/can’t re-buy.

I’ll re-buy 10 times before I end up with my own Last Place trophy

Technically anyone can take their toilet home and some do, but a remarkable number always gets left so after almost 15 years half of us are shooting shots of fireball out of toilets usually after an hour.

Can’t wait to have the tournament live again this year!!
