I've been collecting $1 casino chips since 1978 when Resorts International was the first casino to open its doors in Atlantic City. I've picked up $1 chips from casinos I've visited and grew my collection to over 200 chips. Then, in 2003, I found fellow collectors on the Internet and started trading. That's when my collection really took off. I have over 3,800 different $1 chips in my collection now -- all displayed on my website.
I've also had an article published in Ante Up magazine and am active in several online forums. I run the Casino Chip Collecting group on Facebook and regularly work with the Casino Collectibles manager at eBay to promote their special events.
If you have any questions about casino chip collecting, want a chip appraisal, or want to trade, just contact me and I'll be happy to assist you.
